Based on the UK BAFTA award-winning series, The School That Tried to End Racism explores a ground-breaking pilot program designed to provide school children with the tools to identify racial bias and make positive change.
Hosted by Marc Fennell and filmed in a Nsw primary school, the series follows a team of educators and leading expert Professor Fiona White as they attempt to reverse the racial bias in an ordinary multicultural class of 9 to 11-year-old students. Over three weeks the students go through a series of entertaining and eye-opening activities in and out of class that challenges everything they thought they knew about race.
Beyond the classroom the students meet comedian Nazeem Hussain, writer and ABC sports reporter Tony Armstrong, Olympian Bendere Oboya, editor and founder of Ascension Sasha Sarago, Associate Professor Anna Clark, and Uncle Michael Welsh and Uncle Richard Campbell, who share their experiences and knowledge to assist...

*full disclosure: a Blu-ray screener of this film was provided by Warner Bros. for review. **some spoilers are below. Director/writer: Todd Lincoln. Cast: Ashley Greene, Sebastian Stan, Tom Felton, Julianna Guill, Luke Pasqualino, Rick Gomez, and Anna Clark. The Apparition is a dreadful film. It seems created by a machine as the film lacks soul and power. This title is ineffective as a horror film on so many levels. The characters are drab, the premise is bare bones and there is almost nothing in this film that creates for any thrills. The Apparition is likely targeted towards the tween market with its PG-13 rating. Even this audience might find themselves yawning at this lackluster production. The weak story centrally focuses on Ben (Sebastian Stan) and Kelly (Ashley Greene). This couple has recently moved into an abode outside of Los Angeles. Their new house begins to sprout mold and dirty...

Sean (Jason Ritter) brings Leila (Sarah Roemer) up to speed and delivers the bad news about her mother’s murder and sister, Samantha’s (Anna Clark) kidnapping. While Collier (Heather McComb) is questioning Clark (D.B. Sweeney), Leila bursts in and asks about her sister but only gets more questions about her father (Scott Patterson). Unable to let this go, Leila asks Sean steal Collier’s SUV so that they can look for clues at her house that may lead to Samantha.
