Alexander has finally been captured.
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that Agnes was rescued safe and sound as well, but I did wonder if The Blacklist would take the dark route in killing the baby if Alexander chose to jump.
That would have been a drastically different turn of events, and maybe too much of a tragic spin for the series. It definitely would have caused a rift in the group, that’s for sure.

Instead, Liz was reunited with her child on The Blacklist Season 4 Episode 6, which thankfully puts an end to the cat-and-mouse game with her biological father.
It definitely was time.
And it was interesting that Liz wound up choosing to go along with Red’s plan. There was a certain means to an end, but there was enough level of trust in him to get her daughter back.

You don't want to mess with Raymond Reddington... and definitely not when it involves Liz Keene.
The Blacklist Season 3 Episode 23 dropped the bombshell reveal that Liz was in fact alive and that Mr. Kaplan helped her fake her death.
Oh, and on top of that, Liz was then kidnapped by someone who claims to be her real dad.
If these photos from The Blacklist Season 4 Episode 1 are any indication, Red is going to be on a rampage to get her back, guns blazing.
But will he save her? Will he forgive Mr. Kaplan? And is Tom digging his own grave?
Take a peak at these pictures from "Esteban," and check out our list of 13 things we want to see on The Blacklist Season 4 before the premiere on Thursday at 10 p.m.

It takes a lot to be top dog but Miss P got it done! The sweet four-year-old Canadian beagle took top prize at the 139th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show this week. She took home Best In Show in a surprising victory, the second win for her breed and the first female in her breed to take home top honors. “She just never let me down, she didn’t make any mistakes,” Miss P’s handler Will Alexander told the NY Daily News. Miss P, who has the full name “Tashtins Lookin For Trouble,” was a crowd favorite and we can see why! A beautiful little beagle.

Three cheers for Ch Tashtins Lookin For Trouble a.k.a. Miss P (we’ll still with Miss P). The 4-year-old beagle just won Best in Show at the 139th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

Which means of the 2,711 dogs in competition, Miss P was the baddest bitch. Literally. Look at how she struts around the ring at Madison Square Gardens while her handler does that weird dog show walk-jog.

Miss P was an underdog in the truest sense of the word (in so much as she was not who the crowd expected to win, and also she is a dog). The fan favorite was Swagger, an Old English sheepdog (below left), and the favorite to win was Charlie, a Skye terrier (right), who came in second. Another finalist was related to the Obama’s dog, Bo.

There are still twelve months to go before the world gets to see the newest adventures of Charlie Brown in the Peanuts movie, but as is the case with marketing in today’s cinematic climate, audiences are growing to expect teaser materials at least a year in advance. So, after dropping the first trailer earlier this month, 20th Century Fox has now revealed who will be voicing the iconic characters based on Charles M. Schulz’s original comic series.
The cast of characters in the CGI-animated romp all originate from the classic children’s strip comic of the same name. For the first new feature in 35 years involving Charlie, Lucy, Linus, Franklin, Peppermint Patty, Snoopy and Woodstock, the studio has chosen a range of up-and-coming child actors to lend their voices to the much-loved troupe.

After George Clooney received critical acclaim for 2011's "Ides of March," which he produced, wrote, starred in and directed, he's stretching his directorial chops once again to helm "The Young Commandte."
The film is based on a 23-page article by David Grann in the May 28, 2012 issue of The New Yorker, "The Yankee Comandante." The piece tells the story of U.S. citizen William Alexander Morgan who aided Cuban rebels in 1959 as they sought to overthrow then-President Fulgencio Batista, paving the way for Fidel Castro to take on the role of Cuba's Prime Minister.
For his efforts, his status reached that of Comandante, a great honor for an outsider. The only other foreigner to be as highly regarded was Argentinian Che Guevara. But Morgan's mysterious demeanor worked against him as some questioned his motives. Shortly after being awarded his rank, Morgan faced imprisonment and a firing squad as a traitor based...

As a filmmaker George Clooney has a checkered record thus far. Good Night and Good Luck, his black-and-white biopic about American journalist Edward G. Murrow, was critically heralded and scored six Oscar nods, while its football-centered follow-up Leatherheads was both a critical and financial flop. But with the success of Ides of March, his stern adaptation of the Beau Willimon play Farragut North, Clooney is once more on an upswing. And it seems one Focus Features wants to capitalize on as Deadline reports they've lined Clooney up to helm the biopic The Yankee Comandante. Focus Features is currently cutting a deal to buy the rights to The Yankee Comandante, an involved article that journalist David Grann penned about the extraordinary life and times of William Alexander Morgan, an American who became an unlikely Comandante under Fidel Castro. Last year, alongside Grant Heslov and Beau Willimon, George Clooney picked up a Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar nomination for his work on "The Ides of March." It was the single nomination received for Clooney’s solid but pedestrian fourth directorial effort. Since 2002, Clooney’s ventured behind the camera once every three years, and he’s wasting no time in lining up potential projects, with another one now being added to his slate.
Clooney will again team up with Grant Heslov to produce “The Yankee Commandante,” and he'll direct as well. Back when Fidel Castro was a younger man, trying hard to overthrow the mustache-twirling Fulgencio Batista and declare Cuba free from his tyranny, an American named William Alexander Morgan apparently helped him with the cause. According to the extensive “New Yorker” profile from writer David Grann, Morgan was only the second non-Cuban to earn the title of Comandante – the other being T-shirt logo Che Guevara. According to The Hollywood Reporter, George Clooney and Grant Heslov have optioned the article, “The Yankee Comandante,” to produce as a directorial project for Clooney. It probably won’t be soon though. Clooney is attached to several other projects as an actor and director. However, it’s a fascinating topic – and Grann’s writing is thorough and engrossing. While it didn’t set the box office ablaze — or make many top ten lists, for that matter — yours truly considers The Ides of March another well-crafted, engaging step in George Clooney‘s burgeoning directorial career. Shortly after, Morgan, a shadowy man whose motives for being there were subject to suspicion, was imprisoned and facing a firing squad, charged with working for U.S. intelligence. At the same time, his exploits as a rebel soldier led J. Edgar Hoover and everyone else scrambling to sort out his motives and who he was working for. He’s attached to direct The Yankee Commandante. Focus Features is in the process of grabbing the rights to David Grann’s New Yorker article, which only recently hit newsstands. The piece focuses on real-life figure William Alexander Morgan, an American citizen who assisted Fidel Castro and the Cuban rebels to overthrow the country’s despised leader Fulgencio Batista. While Morgan achieved the rank of Commandante – the only foreigner besides Che Guevara to be awarded it – his motives were quickly questioned. Accused of working with American intelligence, he was imprisoned and sentenced to die by firing squad. He also attracted the attention of J Edgar Hoover, who tried to figure...

George Clooney has set his sights on adapting David Grann's recent New Yorker article, The Yankee Comandante into a feature film. Homophobic sci-fi writer Orson Scott Card has rewritten Hamlet so that it points out how being gay is wrong. Finally!
Os Card certainly isn't suprising us with the homophobia in *his* new translation of Shakesperare's Hamlet, which, according to him, makes it "instantly understandable," because it wasn't before, I guess. What he calls his "revelatory new version" is actually, as reviewer William Alexander at Raintaxi calls it, "a nightmare of vitriolic homophobia."
Apparently, Hamlet's Dad's problem is no longer that he was murdered by a treacherous brother (sorry to, like, blow Hamlet for you) But that he was gay, and therefore an ineffective ruler who needed to be ousted. I just can't put it any better than Alaexander did, so here goes:
Quote:
The old king was actually murdered by Horatio, in revenge for molesting him as a young boy—along with Laertes, and Rosencrantz, and Guildenstern, thereby turning all of them gay.
