Seal the vents and watch the monitors because Patton Oswalt, Debra Wilson, Phil Lamarr, and Wayne Knight are getting sus for CBS Studios‘ Among Us animated series.
In the adaptation of the wildly popular social deception game, Patton Oswalt is the voice of White, a contest winner who abides by the mantra of no trauma, no drama. Oswalt’s White would instead leave the heavy lifting to others and believes wealth can be a personality trait.
Debra Wilson voices Yellow, also known as Ship Cook #1. Indignant, opinionated, and a relentless prankster, Yellow’s pleasure is making pizza and sharing a slice with their best friend, Brown (Lamarr).
Phil Lamarr voices Brown, also known as Ship Cook #2. Unlike Yellow, Brown is chill, supportive, and accountable. Brown is a pizza enthusiast and a fan of Yellow’s shenanigans.
Wayne Knight voices Lime, the ship’s Engineer. Lime is a doomsday prepper and...

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav's great HBO Max purge continues to send ripples throughout the entertainment industry. Not only are fans annoyed that the highly-anticipated DC Extended Universe film "Batgirl," beloved episodes of "Sesame Street," and a bevy of animated series are no longer on the books for the streamer, but the company is burning bridges left and right with creators.
According to a new report from The Wrap, there is a "deep distrust" among the creative talent in the industry when it comes to Wbd at the moment. One anonymous source told them that "the entire company is coming off as distressed. The messaging both inside the company and externally is 'Stay away or get out if you can.'"

In recent weeks, HBO Max has both publicly and quietly removed dozens of series from its platform. These shows are the latest targets of Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav’s cuts which aim to deliver on his promise to Wall Street that he will find 3 billion in cost savings. So what’s the impact of these cuts on HBO Max’s value to subscribers?
At a high level, removing these series will shave 2.1 off what the total demand for HBO Max’s catalog was in July. With only a 2.1 hit to the total demand for HBO Max’s catalog, its relative standing among competitors will not shift — still well behind the tight Hulu/Netflix race but ahead of Amazon Prime Video by a healthy enough margin.

HBO Max and Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav can't seem to keep their names out of the headlines recently, tied exclusively to baffling business decisions like canning the highly-anticipated release of "Batgirl" or absolutely obliterating the streaming platform's animated offerings. Zaslav made it known during the Q2 earnings call that he had hoped to cut 3 billion from HBO Max's operating budget before the inevitable streaming merger with discovery+, which apparently meant annihilating the relationships HBO Max had with Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network.
Learning that your life's work is being wiped out with complete disregard for the artistry or the lives of those that crafted it is difficult enough, but as "Infinity Train" creator Owen Dennis shared, Zaslav and the Discovery team couldn't even have the common courtesy to inform the creators of their decision to throw away their years of work like expired takeout. All aboard the Infinity Train!
Infinity train has run four brilliant seasons, referred to as books, during its run on Cartoon Network and HBO Max.
An animated anthology series created by Owen Dennis, Infinity Train follows the train's unsuspecting passengers as they deal with personal issues.
Infinity train has had a bumpy ride.
Originating as an eight-minute short, Infinity Train's path to becoming an entire series wasn't easy.
As of this writing, the Youtube short has garnered over five million views since its debut in 2016.
It took about two years for Cartoon Network to give the show the Green Light, and when they did, Infinity Train Season 1 finally got made a year later.
Premiering in 2019, the first season managed to achieve an average of around 500,000 views, which is no small feat for a darker animation.

Photo: ‘Infinity Train’/HBO Max Upon first glance it would be easy to describe the Cartoon Network/HBO Max animated sci-fi/fantasy anthology series ‘Infinity Train’ as a kid-friendly version of ‘Snowpiercer’, but to do that would do the series a disservice. In fact, it’s the best kind of show aimed at children: it boasts a great premise, a compelling world and characters, and smart writing. And most importantly it doesn’t talk down to its audience: creator Owen Dennis, previously a writer and storyboard artist on Cartoon Network’s ‘Regular Show’, gives us something that isn’t afraid to tackle some emotional and even dark themes for a kids’ show. But a quick search on the internet indicates that despite its quality, the show was in danger of being cancelled up until recently when it was renewed for another season. It’s a reminder of just how precarious...

Infinity Train is making its first stop at the Cartoon Netwook station next month — several, in fact. The new animated series will launch with a five-night event starting at 7:30 p.m. Monday, August 5, on the WarnerMedia-owned cable net.
Described as a wild adventure filled with puzzles and peril at every twisty turn of events, Infinity Train follows Tulip (voiced by Ashley Johnson), a headstrong 12-year-old girl who must use her wits to uncover the train’s many secrets – and hopefully return home. Her mind-bending journey will find her forging friendships with One-One (Jeremy Crutchley), a robot with dueling personalities, and Atticus (Ernie Hudson), the canine king of Corginia. But with new surprises awaiting in every car, will Tulip ever find a way off the train?
Created by Owen Dennis, the series developed through Cartoon Network’s Global Artists program is heading to San Diego for Comic-Con next week.

With negotiations set to begin Tuesday for a new Animation Guild contract, more than 2,600 industry figures have signed a petition calling for pay equity for color stylists, the animation industry’s only predominantly female craft, whose artists set the look, lighting and palette of cartoons.
The 3,500-member Animation Guild, Iatse Local 839, hasn’t struck the industry since 1983, but leaders told their members recently that a strike this time around “is always a possibility, if not a probability.” The guild’s talks are separate from the recently concluded negotiations for a new film and TV contract covering some 43,000 members of Iatse’s 13 West Coast studio locals.
The petition, organized by the Animation Guild’s Color Stylist Committee, is yet another sign of the growing movement for gender pay equity in Hollywood’s historically female-majority crafts. As reported here exclusively last week, more than 3,300 industry figures have signed another petition calling...
