Ken Willox
- Actor
Ken Willox was born on February 16, 1986 in Bethpage, NY. The only son
of Douglas & Deborah, he was raised in Lindenhurst, NY. The youngest of
four (Kelly, Katie and Colleen), he was always the center of attention.
Everyone knew Ken was destined to entertain and he dreamed of becoming
an actor since he was a young boy. Ken was a senior in high school when
he began to see his dream become a reality. While shopping at an
Abercrombie & Fitch store on Long Island, he was recruited and offered
a job as a model and greeter for the holiday season. During one of his
shifts, he was approached by a talent agent and was offered an
opportunity to model in California. He eagerly accepted and flew to Los
Angeles to audition for the "Janice Dickinson Modeling Show." Once Ken
got a taste of "the industry," he knew that this is where he needed to
be. He worked hard over the next two years trying to make it in
California, but he realized that he needed more experience. Ken made
the difficult decision to move back home to New York and save money for
acting classes. He immediately enrolled in Suffolk Community College to
complete his credits from high school and begin his Associate's Degree
. While he was enrolled in classes in The Mark Stolzenberg School for
Film and Television, a tragic event affected his life. On April 12,
2011, the 20th Anniversary of his Grandmother's passing, Ken's car blew
up in the driveway of his home, engulfing majority of the house in
flames. He was in the house at the time and safely got out. He took
this as a sign and ever since that day, Ken has been doing everything
he can to fulfill his dreams, enrolled in every film, voice, stunt and
stage class possible. He recently landed roles in two major movies
within a six month period.
