Elke Salverda was born in Utrecht, the Netherlands on the 3rd of
September 1983.
Taking her first professional acting lesson, she was 12 years old and
she would take lessons 2 nights a week at Theather de Kom in
Nieuwegein.
A few years later she would play in productions such as Romeo & Julliet
and The Comeback, which they won a culture price with.
At the age of 17 she moved to London and lived there for 7 years.
During this time she took more acting classes (Act Up in London)to gain
a greater understanding of Shakespeare work.
When she turned 18 she went to the Hendon Film Studios to learn about
film and TV acting.
John Poyner was one of
the great men that often joined as guest teachers.
After London, Los Angeles and Australia, she moved back to Holland were
she got the chance to work with Dutch producer
'San fu Maltha' and Director
Brian Yuzna on the movie
Amphibious Creature of the Deep (2010).
