[This story contains spoilers from season seven, episode five of 9-1-1, “You Don’t Know Me.”]
A couple of months ago, 9-1-1 co-creator and showrunner Tim Minear reached out to actor Lou Ferrigno Jr. — who had guest-starred in three flashback episodes of the second season — about reprising his role as firefighter Tommy Kinard in the seventh season of the hit Fox-turned-abc first-responder drama.
Ferrigno Jr., who says he had nothing but fond memories of working with the writer and producer years ago, was instantly intrigued to learn that Minear was in the early stages of writing a multi-episode arc that would allow viewers to check back in with Tommy in the present. That storyline, as it turns out, would involve Evan “Buck” Buckley (Oliver Stark), the ostensibly straight character who would navigate his newfound attraction to Tommy in the landmark 100th episode, which aired last Thursday.

Fans of the 9-1-1 TV series received the shock of the show in its 100th episode, 9-1-1 Season 7 Episode 4, titled "Buck Bothered and Bewildered."
Some fans may have seen the hints written on the wall throughout the show, while others got caught completely by surprise.
A show of hands; who knew Buck was a closet gay guy -- or at least bisexual at the moment. My hand is definitely down! Shock factor.
Reviews of this new development are a mix of "it's about time" and "Wth" from astonished fans and Buck-lovers.
Is this a one-off thing that wasn't reciprocated by Buck? Or is this a new plot twist that will completely change Buck's character development for good?
There is a lot to unpack after an intense, sexually charged scene. Here are our thoughts on this recent development.
Were There Hints That Buck Has Same-Sex Tendencies?

ABC’s series 9-1-1 marked a special moment in its 100th episode premiere. Australian actor Oliver Stark, 32, who plays firefighter Evan Buckley, shared an onscreen kiss with Lou Ferrigno Jr.‘s character, Tommy Kinard.
Stark has been a part of the show’s main cast since its premiere in 2018. Stark’s character has had numerous onscreen romances, but this is the first time his character was seen with a man.
“Humbled and overwhelmed by the positive reaction to Buck’s storyline,” the actor shared on his Instagram Story. “I’ve read so many of your messages, and I couldn’t be prouder.”
“If you are one of the smaller group of people commenting on my posts about how this has ruined the show. I would like you to know that I truly don’t care,” he said. “This is a show about love and inclusion. It’s featured queer relationships from the very beginning,...

Following ‘Avengers: Endgame’ we knew that the MCU’s prime Avengers cast would have to change. Black Widow sacrificed herself at Vormir, and Rdj’s Iron Man did the same by activating the Infinity Gauntlet and snapping away Thanos and the threat of his army forever.
It seemed like that chapter of the MCU was closed forever, and some new faces would emerge to take over the roles that were, at the time, left vacant. We’ve previously covered who the young Avengers of the MCU could be, and even though the prospect sounds amazing, the execution was less than ideal. MCU found itself in sort of a rough patch in recent times. Both Disney+ shows and cinematic releases suffer from record-low interest, viewership, and profits. The most recent example is ‘The Marvels,’ – the lowest-grossing MCU movie to date.

“House of the Dragon” takes fans back to Westeros, a land of sprawling kingdoms, noble houses vying for power, and of course, dragons. It takes place about two centuries before the events of the fan-favorite Game of Thrones.

One thing that fans learned after watching Game of Thrones was that any character can die at any point in the series regardless of how significant they are. It seems like House of the Dragon is also all set to go on a similar path as its predecessor series and we might be witnessing a lot of unexpected deaths in the second season of the series.

MCU’s Iron Man has been one of the most important and beloved characters in the Marvel universe, perhaps because of Robert Downey Jr’s performance. But several fans believe that apart from Downey Jr’s work, there are a few scenes and characters in the movie that completely transform the hero’s story in the franchise, and give birth to many fan theories.
MCU’s Iron Man 2008
One such epic example of an Iron Man fan theory surrounds a major Daredevil character. Paving the way in Iron Man’s MCU timeline, a character appears as a reporter by the name of Ben, in Stark’s press conference at the end of Jon Favreau’s Iron Man. Now, bizarre theories suggest that it could be Ben Urich from the Daredevil universe who was brutally murdered by Kingpin. Did Iron Man really resurrect this Daredevil character?
Did Ben Urich Supposedly Appear in Iron Man?...

Tony Stark is the MCU’s most beloved character. Robert Downey Jr. donned the mantle of Iron Man in 2008, playing the titular character in the film, and his character singlehandedly changed the trajectory of the franchise.
Not only was Tony Stark a leader, with his scientific contributions helping the Avengers every step of the way, but he was also a cornerstone of the team. He was reliable, and he was a leader worthy of respect in every way.
However, Stark had to grow into these traits that defined him in the later films. A recent theory suggests that time travel played a part in it.
Did time travel shape the hero? (Source: Iron Man 2)
Why did Iron Man and the rest of the Avengers have to time travel?
During Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos was on a quest to collect the infinity stones. The time stone was one of them.

Through six seasons of 9-1-1, we've seen Evan "Buck" Buckley go through a lot.
Every character on the series has had their fair share of rough patches, but they've always bounced back even when it seemed impossible.
And from broken bones to family secrets to romantic heartbreak, and three minutes and seventeen seconds, Buck has come back even stronger.
9-1-1 Season 7 started with a sprawling disaster that will eventually take the 118 out to sea to help save two of their own, but when the disaster ends, the characters will again be pushed to the forefront.
The season will also be notable as the 100th episode will air on April 4, a milestone worthy of much fanfare.
With so much to chat about this season, we hopped on a Zoom call with series star Oliver Stark to reflect on 100 episodes and talk about the fan-favorite character he's played since the series' inception.

HBO just dropped two trailers for the second season of House of the Dragon, and the world has been obsessing over it ever since. Releasing two trailers with two different sides of the Dance of the Dragons, the marketing strategy is quite brilliant. But we are not here to talk about marketing strategy.
During the trailers of the blacks (Queen Rhaenyra’s side), we see a brief glimpse of The Wall and, quite possibly, Lord Cregan Stark. Being the Lord of Winterfell, Stark has quite an interesting story to tell, and showrunner Ryan Condal is quite excited for the world to meet Cregan Stark!

Attack on Titan is one of the most revolutionary franchises to be ever written into existence by none other than Hajime Isayama. But many might not know how the creator himself is a huge fan of two other series that he has even gone to lengths to pay homage to in his own works.

Many iconic characters have appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ever since the release of Iron Man back in 2008. However, not many characters have been able to make as huge an impact on the franchise as Tony Stark has.
Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark | Source: Iron Man
Even though he is considered one of the most intelligent characters in the Marvel Universe, it seems like Stark was allegedly too lazy to come up with a creative full form for Jarvis.
Tony Stark gave the most ridiculous full form to Jarvis
Despite being one of the most intelligent characters in multiple universes, Tony Stark was just too lazy to give a creative name to one of its most helpful AI, Jarvis. According to Marvel, Jarvis stands for ‘Just a Rather Very Intelligent System‘ which does not seem like much of a cool acronym for an AI system of its magnificent abilities.

ABC is creating synergy between their primetime shows, with 9-1-1 and The Bachelor coming together for a crossover episode.
Oliver Stark, who plays Buck on 9-1-1, had recently teased that two shows on the network were about to cross paths.
“It’s not a direct crossover, but there’s a feel of it,” Stark told People in a recent interview.
He continued, “There’s a really fun emergency, and it’s not necessarily the biggest in terms of spectacle, but in the fifth episode of the season, there’s one that kind of touches base with another ABC show. I’m really excited for that just because I think it will be a good watch.”
The outlet then received a photo of the 118 ambulance parked outside the mansion seen on The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and The Golden Bachelor.
It’s unclear what storyline will connect the scripted series and the dating competition.

The promos for the new season of the first responder drama make what’s to come look amazing, but we shouldn’t be surprised. “It’s 9-1-1,” Oliver Stark, who plays firefighter Evan “Buck” Buckley, tells TV Insider. “It always goes bigger and louder than it did the previous season.” Season 6 ended with the entire 118 injured after an overpass collapsed. But don’t worry, everyone’s back at work in time for the next disaster: Athena (Angela Bassett) and Bobby’s (Peter Krause) cruise ship is the emergency. Of course, they can’t go on their honeymoon without something going wrong. Again, “it’s 9-1-1,” laughs Stark. Below, Stark previews the new season, what self-discovery looks like for Buck now, and more. Talk about filming the cruise ship disaster. Oliver Stark: It’s been a real kind of mind-blowing experience for all of us, just because of the scale of it.

Fans of all fandoms have one thing in common, they often get attached to their favourite characters. Hence when a beloved character dies, they cannot seem to rest in a reality where they no longer exist. While this is quite a normal, human reaction, they often think of ways that these characters could come back. They get resurrected, they were never really dead, they were simply sleeping; theories spill faster than pouring rain.

Marvel Poster Reveals How Charlie Sheen Will Look Like As Iron Man 13 Years Before Robert Downey Jr.
While most of the audience might remember Charlie Sheen popularly for playing the role of Charlie Harper in the iconic sitcom series Two and a Half Men, some still remember him back for his heyday as one of the most dynamic stars in the industry with a stellar reputation that one could bank on. This is Day 94 of the WGA strike and Day 21 of the SAG-AFTRA strike

In 2007, at my very first San Diego Comic-Con, I witnessed the entertainment industry change in a matter of minutes, when Jon Favreau debuted the first footage of Robert Downey Jr. in “Iron Man.”
At the time, Marvel Studios was an independent company banking its entire future on a third-tier character played by an untested star, an effort that many in the industry and the fan community alike regarded with deep skepticism (if not outright derision). The film had just finished shooting, so the footage only had one real VFX shot of Iron Man suit flying alongside jet fighters; the rest of the preview relied on Downey’s charms and in-camera footage of him as Tony Stark in...

While the American entertainment industry is shut down by studios’ refusal to give writers and actors a fair deal, some productions overseas are able to continue apace. One of those productions is season 2 of Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon.
According to a source no less authoritative than A Song of Ice and Fire writer and Game of Thrones progenitor George R.R. Martin, the scripts are wrapped on season 2 and filming is still underway in Wales, Spain, and other locations around Europe.

Granted, this scene did not make the final version of 1978’s Superman, the start of the first wave of superhero movies, but it was in one of the movie’s later drafts, and while Donner was able to limit the cameos in his movie to low-key appearances by Kirk Alyn...

Welcome to this review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly… Let’s see what went down on this week’s show!
Match #1: Becky Lynch def. Sonya Deville The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Becky Lynch has had plenty of issues with Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark as of late, but The Man proved she could overcome their meddling to punch her ticket to Money in the Bank. Sonya Deville started strong, but as Lynch flipped the script the WWE Hall of Famer and her newcomer sidekick entered the picture. Despite Chelsea Green, Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark circling the ring, a Manhandle Slam propelled Lynch into the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Gunther def. Kevin Owens The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
A backstage run-in with Imperium sent Kevin Owens flying off the handle,...

The Young and the Restless cast I Sonja Flemming/CBS via Getty Images ‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers reveal Genoa City grieves for Phyllis Summers
Leave it to Phyllis to make a scene at Genoa City’s biggest party. The redhead has been in a downward spiral because of her hatred for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Phyllis’ obsession with Diane takes a dangerous turn when she teams with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) to take her down.
After a heated confrontation in her hotel room, Phyllis goes downstairs to interrupt Diane and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) engagement announcement. During her rant, Phyllis fainted and was rushed to the hospital.

The British are the baddies in a clunky origin story that can’t land a blow on Donnie Yen’s original series
A mainland Chinese attempt to cash in on Donnie Yen’s superior Hong Kong series about Bruce Lee’s eponymous sifu, this film’s quickstep fighting rhythms are bogged down by a laughable lack of effort on the narrative front. Budding martial arts master Ip Man, played here by former child star and Jet Li acolyte Miu Tse, arouses the ire of the arrogant British colonialist Mr Stark (played by Sergio de Ieso in a possible nod to Iron Man) after interrupting his human trafficking ring. That’s your lot story-wise; slogging through 76 minutes feels like being forced to do one-finger press-ups for the same length of time.
This is the kind of plot staple – plucky martial arts school takes on foreign bullyboys – that animated many a Shaw...
