Parker's early years in performing began in Charlotte, NC where he performed in theater, commercials and print work. His training continued when his family relocated to Chicago where he studied at The Actors Training Center, Second City and The Acting Studio. After booking a few national commercials and independent films, he was cast in a recurring role on Chicago Fire on NBC. He then relocated to Los Angeles.
He is most recognized as Mikey in the film Ouija 2: Origin of Evil directed by Mike Flanagan, Felix from the MTV series Faking It, and Finn from the Freeform series Chasing Life. Parker has two older sisters, one of whom is actress Kelley Mack.
Parker is of over three quarters German descent (including ethnic Germans from Russia). One of his great-grandfathers was of Finnish origin, and he also has more distant Scottish and English ancestry.
