Composer, author and carillonneur. He composed a number of works both featuring and incorporating carillons and joined ASCAP in 1960. His works include "Impressions", "Carillon Suite", "University of Chicago Suite" (The Chapel, Prayer, The Bells), "Andante Religioso", "Lullaby", "Three Dances", "Village Fair Dance", "May Dance", "Wedding Dance", "Three Preludiums", "Rondino to Spring", "Three Sketches", "Morning Stroll", "Noon Rush", "Evening Rest", "Fantasia for Carillon", "Carillonesque", "Theme & Variations for Carillon", "Flemish Dance", "Rondo for Carillon", "Alfred University Suite", "Allegro for Carillon", and "The Magic of the Bells". Educated at the Belgian Academy of Fine Arts and at specialized carillon schools, he performed in England, France, Holland and then in Cohasset and Gloucester, Massachusetts from 1924 and at the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Memorial Carillon in New York by 1927 and at the Park Avenue Baptist Church and Riverside Church in New York.
