As Agents of Shield season 6 continues its space storyline, Anthony Michael Hall's character takes a villainous shape.
When Agents of Shield season 6 was still in production it was announced that Anthony Michael Hall would be joining the cast, but nothing was shared about what role he would play. Now, Marvel has revealed that Hall will play an antagonist in the deep space storyline in which Fitz finds himself on a casino planet being charged with time-related crimes by a team of Chronicom hunters.
Hall will play none other than Mr. Kitson himself, for whom the casino planet is named, and the press release describes him as "the fiendish ruler of an alien empire." Based on the character portrait at the top of this article, Hall almost looks like a crime boss, and given the turn of events on his namesake planet in "Fear and Loathing on the Planet of Kitson,...

Our genre television podcast hosts talk to Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon, and Jeff Bell about Agents of Shield season 6.
When we spoke to Agents of Shield executive producers Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon, and Jeff Bell about season 6, the premiere had not yet arrived, so there was a limited amount of information they could share. But now that we're a few episodes in, it's kind of interesting to listen to what they had to say on Sci Fi Fidelity in a new context, especially now that it's clear there are no McU tie-ins to Avengers: Infinity War or Avengers: Endgame.
As Bell mentioned in the interview (as previously published), "We were told we were going to be out in the summer, but then sometimes things get moved up, and if we had tried to tie into the time issues that come up with Endgame and then we suddenly got moved up,...

ABC has dropped a new full trailer for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and it looks like it’s gonna be one hell of a sixth season! As you’ll see, the S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents find themselves up against a powerful new villain who is looking to destroy the world, and that villain looks exactly like Agent Phil Coulson.
As you might imagine, some of the Agents have mixed feeling about this, but while this thing looks like Coulson, it most certainly is not. This guy is a force to be reckoned with.
Clark Gregg actually directed the first episode of Season 6 and when talking about what is coming, he said:
"What [producers] Jed and Mo Whedon and Jeff Bell came up with, with the other writers, fulfilled all those criteria. And I’m really excited for people to see what they came up with. It may be a little disturbing,...

The following contains 100 spoilers (give or take 95) from the 100th episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with its 100th episode delivered some very bad news that, in the end, was at least briefly offset by something beautiful.
When last we tuned in, an explosion in the Lighthouse basement blew up three Kree monoliths, which created a “rip” in what was best described as a “fear dimension.” That allowed past adversaries such as Lash, Hive and Lmd Simmons to give our heroes a scare. To neuter the threat,...
