Did the best survivalists make it to the Outlast finale? Or did the players willing to play dirty get to the end over better survivalists on the Netflix show? Some fans want their favorite players to get another chance, and Javier Colón gave some advice to fans.
Javier Colón tried to get revenge on Alpha on ‘Outlast’ Javier Colón on ‘Outlast’ | Netflix
Camp Alpha and Camp Bravo were on the same side of the river. Naturally, they became allies and shared resources and information. That changed when Jill Ashock, Amber Asay, and Justin Court told Colón and Brian Kahrs about a different plan.
Alpha wanted to “expedite” the process of other players quitting. They told Bravo they should lure other players to them and then reject them, so they had to quit. Kahrs said this went against his morals, and Colón agreed.
Alpha took Camp Delta’s sleeping bags, and they quit the following day.

It’s not surprising that Amber Asay told her version of events to angry fans after Outlast was released. Viewers of the Netflix show saw her try to take buoys off Javier Colón’s raft, yelling they were hers.
Asay claimed she gave those buoys as part of their alliance. But Colón tells a different story.

The cyclist posted a video of his face close to the camera at night on Instagram. “Outlast… March 10th on Netflix People were going crazy in those woods…” he captioned the post.
“Javier. Amber says that in the scene where she’s ‘stealing’ the buoys from your raft – those were actually her buoys that she made that they were taking back because you broke the alliance. Is this true?” a commenter asked.

Alliances formed and broke on Outlast. The biggest fallout was between Camp Alpha and Camp Bravo. Justin Court joked about Javier Colón calling him out for playing dirty on the Netflix show.
Why Javier Colón broke his alliance with Camp Alpha ‘Outlast’ contestants Brian Kahrs, Javier Colon, Justin Court, Amber Asay, Jill Ashock | Netflix
Camp Alpha and Camp Bravo were on the same side of the river. So it’s not surprising that they later aligned.
“Hunger Pains” showed all the camps having the mission to build a raft, go down the river, and get crab traps. Court suggested to Colón and Brian Kahrs that if he gets to the traps first, he’ll split them. The same goes the other way around.
Kahrs struggled to get to the island with the raft. Court took too long to finish his raft. Jill Ashock and Amber Asay hiked to the island during low tide instead.

Netflix’s new reality TV competition show challenges survivalists to endure the Alaskan forest for a chance at a million-dollar payday. One team played an aggressive game, forcing multiple competitors to tap out. After the show aired, Javier Colón claimed the episodes didn’t portray how his teammate Brian Kahrs got “tricked,” causing him to fire his flare gun.
Brian Kahrs quit ‘Outlast’
Outlast kicked off with 16 survivalists split into teams of four forced to survive in an Alaskan forest with basic supplies. When the “lone wolves” couldn’t take it anymore, they would tap out by firing a flare gun.
By episode 4, Team Alpha went on to the offense and began sabotaging other groups to force them to exit the competition.
When you play a game with no rules, then you'll do whatever it takes to come out on top.

A big moment had Netflix’s Outlast cast members talk about good, evil, and chaos. Joel Huntgate gave his theory on how the game affected players.

Huntgate started on Camp Delta with Dawn Nelson, Jordan Williams, and Paul Preece. Williams claimed they were the outcasts because they were not picked for a team in the first episode. Huntgate, unsurprisingly did well at building their shelter as an engineer.
However, Camp Delta fell apart quickly after Williams wasn’t feeling well. He blacked out from hunger and was removed from the game. Preece was close to Williams and decided to leave and join Camp Charlie.
Huntgate and Nelson tried to continue the game. “Joel and Dawn, we are all that is left of Delta,” he told the camera. “Paul decided...

One of the most controversial players of Netflix’s Outlast is getting polarizing reactions. Jill Ashock responded to the backlash and those who admire her skills.
[Spoiler alert: This article contains spoilers from Outlast season 1.]
Jill Ashock on ‘Outlast’ | Netflix Why are ‘Outlast’ fans angry at Jill Ashock?
The Netflix show had 16 survivalists break into four teams and try to last in the Alaska wilderness. They could quit at any time and the one rule is everyone had to be in a team to be in the running for the $1 million prize.
Some camps focused on finding food and water to survive. Camp Alpha broke the norm by trying to push out other competitors. Camp Delta had Dawn Nelson and Joel Huntgate remaining. Ashock, Amber Asay, and Justin Court had the plan to steal their sleeping bags to force them to quit. They were successful and the duo slept that night at risk of getting hypothermia. The...

It's always a treat visiting a movie set. Being on the set of Souleater, one of my theories were justified. Aside from team sports, one will rarely see a group of people truly working as a cohesive unit as they do when producing a movie. Especially an independent film.
We're not talking millions of dollars, yet one would think that kind of money is at stake, when seeing how hard everyone is pushing themselves. Producer Tyler Martinolich was gracious enough to have me out on the set in nearby Largo, Fl. This night, they were shooting exterior scenes on a piece of old farm land. The house upon this land looked like something out of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Having a 60 ft. crane casting lights down on the naturally creepy looking pad, provided an atmosphere needed for a horror flick. Director Michael D. Lang, staying calm...
