Fabiano "Red" Pellini: an Italian swing musician, tenor saxophone player, leader, arranger and composer born in Rome.
Graduated from Saint Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome and studied jazz with Tony Scott, a renowned jazz clarinet player. Performed in numerous countries and regions including Italy, USA, Japan, France, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Morocco and Turkey.
An expert of classical Jazz music and the legendary music of Bix Beiderbecke, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman and Lester Young.
The winner of the first prize in two traditional jazz festivals: French (Saint Raphael) and Holland (Breda).
The winner of the prize for the Jazz "Palazzo Valentini" institute of the province of Rome as "Best Talent" Rome, Italy December 11, 2000.
Collaborated with: Tony Scott, Bob Wilber, Kenny Davern, Penautus Hucko, Joe Muranyi, Bobby Pring, Chuck Folds, Bill Crow, Dick Sudhalter, Renzo Arbore, Romano Mussolini, Dan Barret, Spiegle Willcox etc.
Arranged music for and starred in several TV programs and participated as a soloist on RAI Italian broadcasts with Renzo Arbore. Member of the orchestra for the soundtracks of the movie "BIX" (Bix Beiderbecke's life).
