- Though Marc has spent most of his life residing in various towns within Rockland County, New York. He has also been a resident of West Chester, Pennsylvania for 10 years. He moved back to New York shortly following the 9/11 tragedy. On a whim, he moved to and lived in Bloomington, Indiana for a short stint of only 7 months (it was supposed to be a year but he realized that a landlocked state was one of several reasons he did not wish to stay) before moving back to Stony Point, NY temporarily. From there he resided in Haverstraw for 5 years before moving on to Nanuet, then Thiells, then Sloatsburg, and during the later two spent a lot of his time in Brooklyn. Following an extremely painful and essentially life-altering ordeal emotionally, he needed to depart Sloatsburg ASAP, which he has been known to describe as "one of the most depressing and miserable towns on the planet where the sun never shines." From there he moved 45 minutes North to Highland Falls, NY in Orange County where he lived for approximately 5 years. He now resides in the small, quaint town of Rosendale (Ulster County) which lies exactly in the middle of Kingston and New Paltz. He hopes to not have to re-locate again anytime in the near (or far, for that matter) future.
- Marc's favorite film Directors are Brian DePalma, Stanley Kubrick and Sidney Lumet, with several others as close to distant 2nds.
- One of Marc's favorite stage productions was playing Riff in West Side Story (1991). On opening night, during the famous rumble scene where Riff and Bernardo have a knife fight, though it was carefully choreographed and rehearsed, about 30 seconds in Bernardo blocks an attempted knife slash by Riff. On the video, it is clear that Marc's wrist was hit hard enough to make the prop knife fly out of his hand. It went about 20 feet in the air and landed on the floor between the orchestra pit and the first row. The actors are seen rolling their heads up to follow the course of the knife's flight. To them, this was an obvious error (though they stayed in character as the reaction of this event is understandable and realistic to either actors or the characters. The audience thought it was part of the staging as a pre-cursor to Riff's unarmed demise shortly after. However, much to Marc's pleasant surprise, after careful review of this scene in the original film, Riff actually does wind up being disarmed of his knife in almost the exact same manner! The only difference was that in the movie he recovered it before being stabbed, while in his stage version he did not, and resorted to fisticuffs vs. knife instead.
