Fox’s Gotham wrapped Season 1 on Monday night with a brutal, “Who will be the last goon standing?” mob war that promised to make do-right Detective Jim Gordon’s job all that much harder come fall.
Elsewhere, Edward Nygma revealed his questionable alternate personality, Leslie’s therapy session with Barbara was anything but therapeutic and Bruce Wayne unlocked a huge piece of his batty family puzzle.

Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without a heavily tinseled tree, a tipple before midday and Gremlins on the telly at some point during the day.
The Joe Dante-directed black cult comedy sees protagonist Billy Peltzer being gifted with Gizmo, a cute furry Mogwai discovered by his inventor father in a mysterious Chinatown antique store.
Of course the creature comes with three special instructions which, if not adhered to, result in the spawning of grizzly Gremlins hell-bent on havoc.
The Steven Spielberg-produced movie - which is
currently being fast-tracked by Warner Bros for a remake - celebrated its 30th anniversary earlier this year, and here's what the main cast members got up to after the movie's success:
1. Zach Galligan
Zach Galligan plays William 'Billy' Peltzer who becomes enthralled by his unusual Christmas gift - yet careless with the three golden Gizmo rules.

You can’t believe everything you hear on TV — not even (or perhaps especially) when it’s packaged in flannel-shirt wrapping paper, a folksy Oklahoma-accent and a corporate edict to keep the 18-49 demo rating above 3 million.

This week’s episode of Fox’s Gotham should spark fresh discussion about what on the freshman drama is working, and what is not — if only because of the markedly different character mix that was on display.
I, for one, was quite compelled by “Spirit of the Goat,” so I am left to wonder: Is that in part because Fish Mooney and the lumbering “crime syndicate” storyline was 100 percent absent?
Or was it because of the significant bit of character work we got this week with Detective Harvey Bullock? Donal Logue is an immensely watchable actor, but the fact is...

Gotham Season 1, Episode 4, “Arkham”
Written by Ken Woodruff
Directed by T.J. Scott
Airs Mondays at 8pm Et on Fox
“Arkham” picks up right where we left off last week with Oswald Cobblepot at Jim Gordon’s front door, which had potential for an explosive outcome. Although not as incendiary as one might have thought, “Arkham” does pull all the subplots of the previous episodes together and sheds some light on the significance Arkham will have in this series. Gotham has done very well integrating its case of the week stories with the overarching plot in the past but now it’s brought the war between Carmine Falcone and Sal Maroni to the forefront and this gives viewers a look at the key players and their motives.
In “Arkham”, we learn the history of the Arkham district and why it’s of value to the two crime bosses. The Waynes’ foundation...

For a decade or so, the schedules Fox announced during upfront week followed a predictable, amusing pattern: one schedule for the fall that would inevitably struggle, another schedule for mid-season built around the dominant presence of "American Idol," and then many, many changes made to that second schedule at a later date due to the struggles of the first. But "Idol" has slipped from being a juggernaut, to being a hit that no longer annihilated everything in its path, to being a solid utility player at best this spring — Fox president Kevin Reilly admitted to reporters on a press conference call that their "Idol" strategy is "not about turning it around," but simply making it a useful piece for the future — and as a result, Fox is finishing up one of its most problematic seasons ever, and didn't even bother announcing a mid-season schedule because they're still tinkering with how...

Coming off a bumpy season and facing its first fall without three hours of "X Factor" in several years, Fox announced its 2014-15 schedule on Monday (May 12) morning. Actually, Fox only announced its Fall 2014 schedule on Monday. For the first time in recent memory, Fox didn't even attempt to present a midseason slate to advertisers as part of its upfronts presentation. Certainly Fox has plenty on the bench for a busy midseason, but the network has held back on January plans, perhaps waiting on the fate of the ambitious reality series "Utopia." While "X Factor" and its three hours are now, thankfully, gone, Fox scheduled two fall episodes with "Utopia," airing new episodes on Tuesday and Friday nights. In success, Fox execs have indicated that "Utopia" could continue forever -- Just like "Forever Eden"! -- which would impact Fox's spring slate. Fox also may want to hold off on deciding...

R.I.P. Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman (Capote) was found dead in his home in Manhattan yesterday morning of an alleged drug overdose. He was 46. Deadline reports that Hoffman was discovered in the bathroom of his apartment by an unidentified friend and that a hypodermic needle and what appeared to be heroin were found at the scene. Hoffman leaves behind his three children with costume designer Mimi O’Donnell: Cooper (11), Tallulah (7) and Willa (6).
Some of Hoffman's ongoing projects have been shelved, while others continue on. With his passing, Exclusive Media has dropped the movie that Hoffman spent over a year working on with writer Keith Bunin. Nicki Minaj appears to be pregnant, leading some to suspect that her past fling and label mate Lil’ Wayne could be the baby’s father.
Nicki MInaj Pregnant, Lil' Wayne The Father?
Minaj, who has been somewhat Mia since her stint as a judge on Fox’s American Idol, has reportedly been carrying a child for the last several months, according to ThyBlackMan(dot)com. The father, alleges the website, is none other than her longtime friend and sometime lover and collaborator Lil’ Wayne. Wayne already has four children from four different mothers, while the child would be the first for Minaj.
Though Minaj and Wayne are said to have had a sexual relationship in the past, no new reports of romance have appeared recently. However, the pair’s joint performance at the Billboard Music Awards featured Minaj grinding on the rapper in a racy lap dance, sparking rumors of a reunion.

Nicki Minaj says she has a heavy load this year, which means she won't be heading out on the road anytime soon.
The 30-year-old rapper recently told MTV News that she doesn't expect to have time to tour this year, instead needing to focus on making new music and promoting the products she's launching.
"I don't think I can," Minaj said when asked whether she'll embark on a tour. "I really would love to, but I don't think I'll have the time. It's a lot."
Minaj's self-described "business side" is currently working on a clothing line, a drink and speakers. Her artistic side is concentrating on creating new music before returning to the stage.
“I also want to be here so I can write,” the "Super Bass" singer said. “I obviously am going to start working on the third album very, very soon. I’m getting beats as we speak.

Chicago – In other countries and cultures, there are parallel moments going on that are interesting mirrors to U.S. history. In “The Sapphires,” a girl group from Australia entertains the troops in Viet Nam, with many of the same U.S. issues of war, peace and social discord. The film is directed by Wayne Blair and features Jessica Mauboy.
Based on a true story, the film reflects on the practice in Australia of the “stolen generation,” when lighter skinned native Aborigines were stolen from their darker skinned families and assimilated into the white society. This is a thread in “The Sapphires,” as a stolen cousin rejoins the singing group before they go into Viet Nam. The film co-stars Chris O’Dowd (the cop in “Bridesmaids”), who is the manager of the group, and falls in love with one of the singers.

First Mariah Carey let a little more slip out of her lowcut dress than she wanted to at the So So Def All-Star 20th anniversary concert in Atlanta. Now fellow "American Idol" judge Nicki Minaj accidentally lets her lil' Nickis out during a video shoot.
While shooting the video for "High School," featuring fellow artist Lil Wayne, Minaj was in a skimpy swimsuit in a jacuzzi -- and the small suit was no match for her rather ample bosom. But the singer just rolled with the punches, pulling up her suit and continuing on as if nothing had happened.
Of course, this is hardly Nicki's first foray into the world of wardrobe malfunctions. Back in August 2011, she had an accident on the set of "Good Morning America" when one of her breasts popped out of her shirt.
Who's next -- Keith Urban? Yes, please.

Nicki Minaj has never had a problem showing some skin, but the singer recently flashed a little too much on the set of her new music video.
The 30-year-old singer and Lil Wayne released a behind-the-scenes preview of their new video for "High School," which was shot before the rapper was hospitalized last week for seizures.
The video was shot inside a Hollywood mansion and Minaj has a bit a trouble with her swimsuit while filming a scene in a jacuzzi! Of course, it's far from the first time the "American Idol" judge has flashed a nipple. In November, the "Super Bass" singer suffered a nip slip while appearing on a live broadcast of "The Re-Up" on Bet, and flashed the entire country during a live performance on "Good Morning America" in 2011.

"Actually, I've never watched it," Lil Wayne said of American Idol this weekend. "When I talk to [Nicki Minaj, his Cash Money Records artist] she always tells me, 'You don't wanna watch that, you're not going to be into it. ... She knows me. ... It's kind of like a catfight where they be going back and forth type of thing, I'm not into all that." Metarie, La. — "American Idol" picked Nicki Minaj as a judge to draw in viewers, but she's actually discouraged at least one person from watching it – her mentor, Lil Wayne.
The rap star admitted Friday that he has yet to see "Idol" this season – or any other season.
"Actually, I've never watched it," he said, a bit sheepishly.
Part of the reason he hasn't tuned in to see Minaj is because she didn't exactly sell the show to Lil Wayne.

On January 16th, American Idol returns for its 12th season – and it won't take fans very long to see that the Fox staple has shaken things up radically. Who could blame the Idol team for taking risks? The judges didn't click with each other or the audience last season; Steven Tyler gazed off passively into the middle distance, Jennifer Lopez gently encouraged the performers to be true to themselves and Randy Jackson just tried to make everyone stay on pitch.

New York -- Nicki Minaj, the rapper who has had much success on the pop charts with songs like "Starships" and "Super Bass," says the rerelease of her sophomore album will be nostalgic for her early fans.
"The feel of the rerelease is kind of like my first sound, like the mixtapes," she said of "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up," out Tuesday.
The rerelease comes seven months after "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts. That album features pop, dance, R&B, reggae and rap sounds. It's a far stretch from when Minaj kicked off her career as a sexed-up street rapper, signed by Lil Wayne in 2009 after she released three buzzed-about mixtapes. Her official debut, "Pink Friday," is near double platinum and was nominated for a Grammy Award.
But the 29-year-old says she's "back to basics" on her eight-track "Re-Up," which features Lil Wayne,...
