At an early age, Composer Michael Tobin was drawn to artistic pursuits, and found them best paired with his lifelong love of music. Born in Manhattan, and growing up in Long Island, NY, Michael began as a bass player; writing and performing music with various bands in New York and Florida. This eventually led him to pursue music studies at Broward College as a music major.
After leaving College Michael took to the road performing in clubs and venues throughout the eastern and central United States. After leaving the life of a touring musician he wrote and produced music for other bands.
In 2010 he began composing music for film, and has scored several short films and a feature film. He has also successfully placed music on TV and Cable networks ABC, CBS, Bravo, TLC, SundanceTV and MTV.
