Chris Schaefer(I)

Chris Schaefer writes books, articles, and now a screenplay, about
World War II in the Pacific and about the history of the Middle East.
He is an Associate Instructor at the Osher Learning Institute at the
University of Utah where he teaches World War II and Middle East
history. He also serves as Public Relations Officer for the Philippine
Scouts Heritage Society.
Chris started his career as a historical researcher and writer after working twenty-two years as an international consultant and software developer, with clients across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong. He is a former U.S. Army reconnaissance pilot. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in History and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, and has taken writing courses and seminars at Rice University and the University of Westminster.
