Verena Mueller (or Müller) is an actress known for having worked equally as much on stage as on screen, in German as well as in English.
Her work ranges from a role on famous long-running-series Tatort, a procedural crime TV show, being broadcast in Germany, Austria and Switzerland; a lead role in Making of Barricades, a film officially selected at London International Motion Picture Awards and a production of Pünktchen & Anton for children at Vienna's Theater Akzent.
Verena was born and raised in Vienna, Austria. After a year abroad in California where she discovered her passion for acting, she pursued a serious acting training at the Actors Workshop Vienna. Having started out in theater, she has worked on stages in Santa Barbara, in her hometown of Vienna and in castles in Germany and Austria, she has always acted on screen as well. In 2018 Verena founded her own theater company Thiasus Productions for female-driven-English-theater in Vienna and produced and acted in all their productions. She also wrote a screenplay and produced scenes from it.
Since continuous training has always been a part of her acting work, she attends scene study classes at TIAS - The International Acting Studio, weekly training with colleagues and other workshops regularly.
Verena used to own a horse since she was a child and is an avid horse rider in all fields, she can also drive a horse carriage. Her native accent is American and is often mistaken for one. She can also do an American Southern or British accent, variations of German or Austrian accented English and she speaks French on a conversational level. Verena is based in Vienna and has an EU passport.
