Zak Zeinert
- Director
- Actor
- Camera and Electrical Department
Zak Zeinert was born in the small town of Abilene, Texas to Randy and
Paige Zeinert. Less than a year after his birth, his family relocated
to the suburbs of north Houston where Zak would spend the next 18
years. For Zak, acting was never on the radar, although the seeds were
planted at a young age. Growing up, Zak, like most young people,
struggled to find a path to take in life. He had a passion for art and
a desire for adventure; a combination that would lead him to a degree
in Photojournalism from Abilene Christian University. While in school,
Zak and some friends formed a band and he got his first taste of the
joys of being a performer. The summer after his sophomore year, while
watching a movie in his underwear, Zak realized he wanted to become an
actor. In December 2010, Zak graduated from college and a month later
moved to LA. Within a week he was enrolled in an acting school.
He trained at The Ivana Chubbuck Studio, Playhouse West, and improv training at The Second City. In addition to his first feature film, Zak has also starred in various short films and performed in numerous improv comedy shows.
A self-proclaimed artistic adventurer, Zak can often be found exploring unknown paths or dangling off a cliff - camera in hand - chasing his other true passion: photography.
Zak plays the lead role of Toby in the indie film Suicide Watch (2015).
