Stephen grew up in New Lexington, Ohio, which served as a location for the Robert Redford movie "Brubaker(1980)." Several of his family members appeared as extras in the film, but Stephen did not.
Stephen was one of several National Anthem singers for The Chicago Bulls.
Stephen spent 20 years as a professional opera and classical singer, music lesson instructor, and conductor prior to making a pivot into acting, improv, and writing.
