Jack Draper, like many other British players, looks up to Andy Murray, and he recently talked about the Scot's impact on him.
Jack Draper is the future of British tennis alongside Emma Raducanu, and the country has high expectations of them. On the men's side, Draper will step into big shoes once Andy Murray retires, as he set the bar pretty high.
It's not something that scares the young Brit as he grew up watching Murray, so he's fully aware of everything he ever did. Most of those achievements were followed by Draper on TV, and he wants to do the same things: winning Wimbledon, the Olympics, and all the other tournaments.
He helped me before I even knew him; he's the one inspired me to so want to achieve great things in tennis. I remember watching him win Wimbledon in 2013. I remember him winning the Olympic Games in 2012, and when he played mixed doubles.

Former British Wta player Laura Robson felt it was 'nice' to see Novak Djokovic lose his temper in the Wimbledon final this year so that fans can really attest to his human powers.
Djokovic had been unbeaten in a Wimbledon final for precisely 10 years when he faced Carlos Alcaraz last month in one of the most anticipated Grand Slam final matches in recent memory. Djokovic had cantered to win many majors during his career, and Robson reckoned we never got to see the human side of him.
And Djokovic, for the first time this season, was visibly agitated with some of the points he played during the final and smashed his racket in frustration on the net post , making a huge dent in it. Djokovic felt the full wrath of the British crowd who booed him. Roboson who was watching the match, felt the fans sometimes have a wrong perception of Djokovic.

Novak Djokovic is one of the favourites at the US Open later this month, but according to former player Laura Robson, he may be more of an underdog.
Many would have likely sided with her analysis before the Cincinnati Masters. Djokovic was coming from his summer break without any prep matches, so it's only natural to expect him to be rusty. He wasn't, as he was pretty sharp, surprising many.
His level pushed him to the final, where he outlasted Carlos Alcaraz in another nail-biter . The Spaniard controlled the match well, had a match point but ultimately lost the match in three sets. It was a much-needed reminder that Djokovic is still on top, and many might question whether he truly is an underdog.
For Robson, who talked to Skysports , he still seems like the underdog simply due to how Carlos Alcaraz has played against him and the weapons the...

Emma Raducanu was told to draw inspiration from fellow Wta comeback queens Caroline Wozniacki and Elina Svitolina .
Emma Raducanu is supposed to make her comeback sometime in the future months, and fellow player Laura Robson urged to take examples from the likes of Caroline Wozniacki and Elina Svitolina.
Everybody has been very impressed with everything Elina Svitolina has been able to do this year . The Ukranian player returned earlier this year and rather quickly established herself as one of the better players on Tour, with good runs at Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
Caroline Wozniacki also made a comeback this year and hers was even more unlikely than that of Svitolina considering that she missed 3 years of tennis. Still, she returned and won her first match playing some very good tennis.
As a former player, Robson urged Raducanu to look at those examples on her road back to the tennis courts.

Novak Djokovic is likely to be the clear Wimbledon favourite according to former British number one, Laura Robson .
Djokovic has an incredible recent record at Wimbledon as the Serbian has won the last four editions and has not lost at the event since 2017. In addition, the 36-year-old has already proved his adaptability this season by winning the Australian Open in January before tasing further Grand Slam success at the 2023 Roland Garros earlier in June .
Due to his impressive form at Wimbledon and in recent Grand Slams, Djokovic is a standout favourite ahead of the third Grand Slam of the year. Former Wta player Robson told Eurosport that Djokovic's potential to win an eighth career Wimbledon title is clear to see on current form.
"He's definitely the favourite in my eyes, especially after Paris."
Robson said to Eurosport

Andy Murray's defeat to Alex de Minaur at the 2023 Monte-Carlo Masters was hard to watch according to former player Laura Robson who is at the event.
Working for Eurosport, Robson followed the match along with another former player Justine Henin and they spoke about the match after its conclusion. It wasn't a very good match for Murray as he struggled to move on the court which resulted in him hitting a lot of shots out of sync. Most of them ended up as errors either wide or in the net.
He was super disappointed with how he played. It is so hard to watch because you know how much work he is putting in outside of the court and in the gym, just to be able to play out on the clay because it is so difficult for him physically.
It was quite a disappointing loss for Murray and in a quite reactionary fashion,...

Emma Raducanu is once again away from tennis due to a wrist injury but her compatriot Laura Robson is not worried about it.
Raducanu last played at the Sunshine Double despite suffering from a wrist injury. She did much better in Indian Wells than in Miami but overall it was a positive experience considering that she didn't play fully healthy at those events.
A return is scheduled for Stuttgart where she played a solid event last year. It's on clay so that will be a chance but she proved last year that clay can be a good surface for her because she can hit the ball really well.
I think if she's just able to get another couple of consistent weeks under her belt, then the belief will come and you start to trust your body a bit more and you start to then not worry about some small injuries...

Laura Robson considers Rafael Nadal to be the Roland Garros favourite despite not playing since the Australian Open.
No player in history has ever been as dominant as Nadal at Roland Garros so this opinion doesn't surprise anybody. No other player has dominated any event in history as much as Nadal dominated the French Open and for many people, it's simply impossible to bet against him on Philippe Chatrier.
Robson is certainly not willing to do that as she watched him win the event last year without problems despite playing on a numb foot. He's not that much in better health this year but despite the problems, for her, he's still the man to beat there as she revealed to Eurosport.
The numbers that he's had at Paris, it's like hard to wrap your head around, but I just think he needs matches. The draw is wide open, but for me,...

Eurosport analyst Laura Robson described Carlos Alcaraz's level at the Miami Open as 'insane' in a recent chat about the Spaniard.
Alcaraz was truly insane at times during the Miami Open but an injury ultimately cost him the title defence. It wasn't known at the time but his performance against Sinner wasn't that good with the youngster revealing an injury recently, one that will keep him from competing in Monte-Carlo.
Honestly, Alcaraz's level in that whole tournament [Miami] was insane. I kind of struggle to imagine him improving even more. But he's just got so much more ability that you feel like he could get to, which is almost the scary part for all of his opponents as he continues to develop as a player because you forget how young he is and how little time he's really spent on the tour, and yet he's just outrageous.
Robson didn't share...
