[Warning: This story contains major spoilers from the sixth season premiere of True Blood. Read at your own risk.]
It should come as no surprise that the True Blood premiere featured a lot of death — including one that was first suspected at the end of last season.
During Sunday's premiere, the HBO series officially said goodbye to Luna Garza (Janina Gavankar), the love interest of Sam (Sam Trammell) and mother to Emma (Chloe Noelle) who died after skinwalking as vampire Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian). Ouch. It wasn't too much of a surprise considering Luna looked near death in the finale and Gavankar had moved on to other projects, including the CW's Arrow. But still, the uncertainty of her fate at the close of the finale gave hope to some fans that Luna may get a second wind in Season 6.

From what we've seen so far, Season 6 of "True Blood" seems to focused on the vampire-human war, but hopefully our favorite werewolf packmaster, Alcide, played by Joe Manganiello, will get some screen time this year.
Manganiello recently chatted with Larry King and shared a few choice tidbits about the upcoming season, which you'll find in the first video below. He also describes his wild rise to fame, how he came close to starring in Superman: Man of Steel, how a female fan asked him to lick her, shedding his clothes for the screen, and the possibility of a Magic Mike sequel so if you're a fan, check out the full interview in the second video.
To keep up with everyone else Larry is talking to these days, visit "Larry King Now" on Hulu and "Larry King Now" on ora.tv. It airs Monday-Friday at 5pm Et.

Remember back in Season 4 of "True Blood" when we met attorney Portia Bellefleur, the great-great-great-great granddaughter of Bill Compton, played by Courtney Ford? Well, she's coming back to Bon Temps for Season 6!
Per TV Guide, Ford is slated to return in Episode 7, which should be interesting given that when we last saw her, Bill had glamoured her into screaming and running away any time she encountered him due to her persistence in making a play for him despite their familial connection. She did share a bit about why she might be returning: "After watching the Season 5 finale, which was pretty intense and crazy, things are getting a little heated in Bon Temps, and it stands to reason that someone is going to need a lawyer."
But what about that pesky screaming and running away thing? Will that still be in play? "How much of Bill is in there?" Ford mused.

I can just hear that twangy song playing right now in my head, can’t you? Yes, we’ll soon be losing the weekly replay of the epic theme song for Game of Thrones, in favor of the dulcet tones of Jace Everett singing “Bad Things”, when True Blood returns for Season Six on June 16.
To help get us ready (as if we weren’t), HBO has released a new TV spot containing mostly footage we’ve seen in the trailer but if I’m not mistaken, a few little snippets of new footage as well. There’s a new poster, and they’ve also issued a press release that gives a teeny bit of info about the season in general, followed by synopses of the June episodes.
The synopses are fairly spoilery, so if you love spoilers, dig in. If not, it’s pretty easy to see where they are without reading them,...

For some reason the clip HBO released earlier today from "True Blood" Episode 5.10, "Gone, Gone, Gone," has been removed; but they made up for it by providing two more sneak peeks. Check out "Unexpected Guest" and "We Meet Again", and be sure to tune in on Sunday, August 12.
We've also learned that some live Q&A's will be held over the coming weeks. First up will be Kristin Bauer van Straten on August 13th. Click here to post your question for Kristin and/or to vote on what's already been asked. Then it's Joe Manganiello's turn on August 20th. HBO is being a little stingy with "True Blood" fans this week, providing just one clip from the upcoming Episode 5.10, "Gone, Gone, Gone," but that's okay. We've learned to take what we can get!
Episode #58 (5.10): “Gone, Gone, Gone”: With vampire-on-human attacks increasing, the Authority attempts to woo public favor. Meanwhile Nora (Lucy Griffiths) tries to convert Eric to Lilith’s gospel. Jason finds a mysterious scroll; Elijah (Keram Malicki-Sanchez), the new vampire sheriff of Area 5, pushes Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and Tara (Rutina Wesley) to obey a new mandate; Sam (Sam Trammell) and Luna (Janina Gavankar) search for Emma (Chloe Noelle); Russell (Denis O’Hare) seeks a higher calling. Written by Alexander Woo; directed by Scott Winant.

True Blood Preview: Russell Wants Fairy Blood
The Vampire Authority put their Sanguinista plans into motion, plans that will end mainstreaming on True Blood and Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) is resisting this change. While this story is progressing at full speed, several others such as Terry's (Todd Lowe) smoke monster issue and the hate group that are after all supernatural beings concluded. This means that the war that is coming between humans and vampires will be taking center stage for the final three episodes.
Eric's lack of religious beliefs have been clear, even when he was high on Lilith's blood and he makes a plan to escape the Authority headquarters with the help of Vampire Mac/Molly (Tina Majorino). This plan also involves Bill (Stephen Moyer) who claims that he is 'lost' and is uncertain what to believe. When Eric mentions Sookie (Anna Paquin) this seems like it might be enough...
