Kohler McKenzie was born in Burlington, Vermont. He received his degrees in
Political Science and Economics from St. Marys College of Maryland in
2006. He went on to receive his Masters degree in acting from Mason
Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. On TV he has been seen on Damages, The Following, Person Of Interest and Elementary as well as MTV's One Bad Choice. On stage, he has been seen
at Baltimore Center Stage and at the Lincoln Center Institute. He is also the COO of Empire Actors Groups, which is the developer of Empire Scenes and Monologues; an app that helps actors locate scenes and monologues for their educational and professional use. He
currently resides in Harlem.
Kohler McKenzie is a direct relation of the famous New England meat packing family McKenzie of Vermont; a meat packing company founded by John McKenzie in 1907.
The nephew of American Ballet Theatre Artistic Director and former Principal dancer Kevin McKenzie.
