- Bam Rubenstein was born in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York, USA. Among his other achievements, Bam is an ordained Rabbi and a disabled US Air Force combat veteran. As an actor, he is best known for Miami Vice (1984), Nightmare Beach (1989) with Sarah Buxton, B.L. Stryker (1990), and Gallery Erotica as The Artist Called Bamm (2002). The span of his talent is easily recognized through the spectrum of roles that he's played. From his portrayal, in How To Pick Up Girls, as the flamboyantly gay movie director, Belmondo, to his portrayal of the Alien, Fred, in Hook Up, to his portrayal of a biker gang member in both B.L. Stryker, alongside Burt Reynolds, Rita Moreno, Carol Alt, and Ossie Davis, and Nightmare Beach/Welcome to Spring Break, alongside Lance LeGault and John Saxon. Rubenstein also showed his acting range playing, at different times, a pilot, a drug runner, a biker and a security guard on Miami Vice, ending up face to face with Don Johnson, Matt Frewer and Edward James Olmos, among others. More recently, Bam has been used as a precision driver in Love and Death (2023) starring Elizabeth Olsen, and The Last Thing He Told Me (2023) starring Jennifer Garner.
