Andrea Vicentini wrote the award-nominated feature comedy "Why does it always rain on me?". This celebrated comedy cleverly combines British football with classic buddy-caper and was highlighted at the LA Comedy Festival, AOF International Film Festival, The Golden Brad Awards and Peachtree Village International Film Festival.
Vicentini also wrote the romantic comedy,"26.2" another multi-award finalist feature script (Beverly Hills Film Festival, LA Comedy Festival and Peachtree Village International Film Festival. Set in New York City during the NYC Marathon, "26.2" has been compared with comedy blockbuster hits including "Along Came Polly."
His latest work, "On the saddle of a blue Bianchi bike" has won Best Writing Award at Gala del Cinema Internazionale Venezia and Best History Screenplayn Award at Mediterranean Film Festival (MedFF). The film is set in the countryside of Northern Italy from the years preceding WWII to the present day.
