Albert Behar is a composer of film and concert music. He's passionate about the intersection of acoustic and electronic sounds. Described as "engaging" (NY Times) and "inventive" (LA Times), Behar has composed scores for Oscar shortlisted films, network television, and Fortune 500 companies. His underscore is heard regularly on Vice On Showtime, Dateline, and 20/20. Behar also created the theme for the BBC World News program Talking Movies. As a composer of concert music, Behar has been commissioned by the Kronos Quartet and featured at Carnegie Hall. Behar's film scores have won awards at the Tribeca, Slamdance, and Abu Dhabi International Film Festivals and have received theatrical releases. Albert is a passionate accordionist, pianist, and multi-instrumentalist, bringing fresh sounds to film scoring projects. He splits his time between Providence and New York City.
