- Masao Nakasone was born in 1935 in Gunma Prefecture, Japan. He is an actor, known for Ultraman: A Special Effects Fantasy Series (1966) and Super Jetter (1965).
- Best known for doing the vocal effects (yelling, grunts, and the trademark "Shuwatch!") of the Japanese superhero, Ultraman, in the TV series Ultraman: A Special Effects Fantasy Series (1966). He is nicknamed "Mr. Shuwatch" by fans in Japan.
- Was supposed to do the speaking voice of Ultraman (apart from the vocal effects), but on his way to work, his car broke down, and could not make it to the recording session. Nisashi Kondo was brought in to do Ultraman's speaking voice at the eleventh hour. Upon making it to work, Nakasone was scolded by the management at Tsuburaya Productions. He did, however, get to do Ultraman's speaking voice in one episode (Episode #33, "The Forbidden Words").
