Whether it’s the questionable FX, the lead star’s very controversial dalliances, or just audiences being burned one too many times by Comic Book Films, there’s one movie that is all anyone can talk about. And look, I get it. There was a lot of craziness that went on during this production and had more people come and go due to creative differences than any movie we’ve covered on the show.
Warning you guys and gals right now, if you haven’t seen The Flash, you’re going to want to turn back now, because this is where things get Super spoilery.
Warner Brothers tried getting a Flash movie off the ground in the late 80’s with comic writer Jeph Loeb being brought in to write the screenplay. Unfortunately nothing ever came of the property until 2004 when David S Goyer signed on to write, direct and produce a new Flash.

“What’s a crocodile doing round ‘ere?” asks best man Ben (Stephen Staley).
“I don’t know, Ben. That doesn’t matter,” says groom Charlie (George Nettleton).
It’s a simple, perfect reasonably exchange which does away entirely with the need for lengthy prologues or dubious science. Instead we get a short prologue in which a couple go camping and bump into the monstrous animal to set the scene, and then we’re straight into the main story. This involves Charlie’s wedding at a rented stately home in the English countryside, where the crocodile is already resident and, not having been invited, decides to gatecrash the ceremony in style.
The event is organised by Dylan (Mark Haldor), the father of the bride and, as it happens, a former ranger. He left his profession behind after his wife was killed by poachers...

Croc! is the latest in a long line of films about crocodiles and alligators seeking revenge on mankind for turning their relatives into shoes and handbags. I’ve often wondered why there’s not more of them actually. Like sharks, these leftovers from the age of dinosaurs have large mouths full of sharp teeth and can be found all over the world. But unlike sharks they can come out of the water after you making them much more of a threat.
Lisa King is getting married and her father Dylan has bagged her a wonderful location for it. He also bagged himself the hostess while he was touring it, but that’s another matter. Right now she’s dealing with a lack of cell reception and stories of missing locals which are scaring the bridesmaids.

HBO Max To Build ‘The Bridge’ In Hungary
HBO Max’s Hungarian arm will run a local version of Banijay survival format The Bridge. The format tasks bringing contestants together to build a 250-metre-long bridge to an island for the chance to win a large cash prize, and this latest deal marks its sixth international adaptation. Presented by Csaba Magyarósi, The Bridge Hungary is produced locally by Free Monkeys Production, based on the original Spanish format. Production took place neat Lake Belis in Romania, near the Hungarian border. Deadline understands it was given the greenlight before HBO Max stopped commissioning in the Cee region. Most production staff in Europe have now been let go, as Deadline revealed last month.

Jurassic Valley is set in 2030. We’re told that nations have been pushed increasingly apart and the world is on the brink of disaster. And that government investment in the war effort has produced a breakthrough “of Jurassic proportions”. In more direct terms it means that we’ve managed to recreate dinosaurs, the flesh-eating ones of course, just in time for World War III to send us back to the stone age.
Now, two years later a group of survivors are running out of food and medical supplies. Three of them, Daniel, Drew and Mia set out to find whatever can be scavenged. This does not sit well with Louise who is carrying Daniel’s child. She, however, may be in as much danger as he will be because they’re all living in the Jurassic Valley.
