A new Spanish language horror film has recently completed through Primer Cinquena. The film is titled For Elisa and a trailer is now available for the film. In the reel, Elisa (Ana Turpin) answers a job advert' for a nanny position. But, the new family is demented and Elisa is forced to fight her way out of a house "full of antique toys." There might be no way out for Elisa as seen in the bloody trailer. For Elisa will release in Spain September 6th. The film does not have a North American distribution date. Rob Willey is the frontman of the rock group Jell. Willey won "Best Director" for his video "Out of Your Head" at the Vancouver Island Music Awards in 2012. He has continued to work with the camera. In 2013, Willey began shooting a feature length horror film, titled Dark Cove. Willey has encountered a few challenges during filming. In this interview, Willey talks about plans to distribute his first horror title. He also discusses some of the treacherous sets, which were truly isolating and even dangerous. Ajai's Stitch is another surreal entry into the horror genre. This title stars Edward Furlong and Shawna Waldron. Together, these two play a couple who head onto a healing retreat, after the death of their young daughter. Then, Marsden (Furlong) and Serafina (Waldron) find themselves trapped in a bizarre landscape by a maniacal shaman as seen in the film's first trailer. Horror fans can view the clip inside. The undead western Gallowwalkers, starring Wesley Snipes, will show at the European Film Market February 8th. Vantage Media International will bring this horror tale to market as Snipes is soon to exit corrections. Snipes was given a three year prison term for tax fraud. Since then, Gallowwalkers has been put on hold, despite the film showing at Frightfest in late 2012. This title has been in production for over seven years. Tick Tock Trick is a ghostly tale from the United Kingdom. The film involves a group of friends and a haunted 17th Century mansion. These friends find what they are looking for, when they go in search of the paranormal. A nightmare awaits them. Tick Tock Trick has been in development over several years. Tulpa is the latest thriller developed by Italian director Federico Zampaglione (Shadow). This sexualized title involves a businesswoman, who finds her spirituality through anonymous coital embraces. But, someone is killing off her many lovers. Afraid to reveal her lifestyle to authorities, Lisa (Claudia Gerini) seeks out this madman on her own. Director Michael A. Isaacs (Deaderfied) is set to film a backwoods slasher titled American Slaughter. Isaacs will begin filming this piece February 18th in the Los Angeles area and casting details are emerging. Joshua James will play Roger, while Tanya Camburn plays Lori. UFO International has released the first trailer for their upcoming disaster film Vampyre Nation. This is an action piece set in a horror universe, where vampires live peacefully with humans. Then, something goes wrong. The vampires are being hunted and the "Vampire Crimes Division" wants to know who that hunter is. Vampyre Nation has now been completed and a release date will be announced shortly. UFO International and the SyFy Network have developed a long-term working relationship. Simon Phillips is a United Kingdom based actor. Phillips has appeared in over 30 films in a short period of time. This actor has also worked with many well known castmates including Tamer Hassan (Layer Cake), Danny Dyer (Doghouse), Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Vincent Regan (Lockout) and the up and comer Adam Deacon (Kidulthood). He has trained in drama in London. Recently, Phillips produced his first film, GBH, as director. GBH was a crime thriller set during the 2011 London riots. This very busy student of the creative arts will continue his acting career with several more upcoming features. Phillips is already set to appear in a number of features. Phillips is in production on The Hooligan Wars, The Fall of the Essex Boys, U.F.O., White Collar Hooligan 2: England Away and several other films. Dismal Productions is moving ahead with their horror title Lord Bateman. This is a period piece set in the 16th Century. Here, the noble Bateman searches for victims to entertain his murderous urges. Part demon and part man, Bateman succumbs to delusions of hell and the Devil himself. Lord Bateman now has a short video clip that shows characters from the film. Actor Bill Oberst Jr. is seen as Bateman in full makeup. He terrorizes two girls played by Anna Pullig and Alice Orozco.
