- Worked as a stand-in for actors Robert Taylor and Alan Curtis in the late 1930s. Doms attended Pomona College with Taylor, where they were members of Phi Delta. He was also reported to have been Delta Sigma fraternity brother of Curtis' at school in Chicago in the late 1920s.
