Gavin (Terry O'Quinn) and Olivia Doran (Vanessa Williams) are the owners of the luxurious apartment building called the Drake. They are the perfect "beautiful people" well established in upper society. Olivia is a beautiful and elegant sophisticated lady. Gavin is a successful business man with an aura of power that flows from him like honey from an over ripe honeycomb. If you look into his eyes, for some reason, a chill runs down the spine. It is not just power one senses. There is something else that is dark and almost undetected. Something that lurks in the background just waiting for the right moment to slither it's fingers around your soul. Two young people from a small town answer the add for apartment manager's of the Drake. Henry Martin (Dave Annable) an attorney, works for the Mayor's office and Jane Van Veen (Rachael Taylor) is an aspiring architect with an interest in restoring old buildings.
