Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen will be serving up two additional seasons, with Fox renewing the popular culinary competition series for seasons 23 and 24. The series debuted back in 2005, and the most recent season earned the top fall 2023 spot among cooking shows. Season 22’s first episode also set a new record for the series’ most streamed premiere.
“As my very first show on Fox, Hell’s Kitchen holds a very special place in my heart and it’s incredibly gratifying to have it renewed for its 23rd and 24th seasons,” said Ramsay. “This show just keeps getting better and better, and with Fox, ITV, and A. Smith & Co. as my partners, you can expect even bigger challenges, stronger talent and more intense competition in Hell’s Kitchen in the years to come.

The Fox hit, which turns 20 next year, has been handed a renewal for seasons 23 and 24 and a rejig with a move to a fresh studio in Connecticut.
The new seasons will be filmed in the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, where one of Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurants opened last year. The move is a landmark as it is the first time a new set has been custom-built on property. The series has tended to be shot in L.A. although Seasons 19 and 20 were made out of Vegas.

The first teaser and key art for the “American Dream” season of “Hell’s Kitchen” has arrived, TheWrap can exclusively reveal. Season 22 of the series is set to premiere Sept. 28 on Fox.
“Winning ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ is the American dream,” a contestant confidently says into the camera during this first teaser.
The 30-second clip then cuts between several wild scenes, from cheerleaders performing a routine in the studio to food fights and someone pouring what appears to be milk onto one of the contestants. Baked into the mix are several Gordon Ramsay staples such as the celebrity chef yelling repeatedly about raw meat and labelling a dish “disgusting.” Watch the promo above.
In the “American Dream” season of the series, contestants will be divided into red and blue teams and will compete in various themed challenges, including a BBQ competition, creating their own signature dish and performing dinner service at the Hell’s Kitchen restaurant.

Ok, that was surreal. Johnny Knoxville, Eric Andre and Gabourey Sidibe re-creating the famous “Ghostbusters” commercial from the 1984 movie, but promoting a hotline for… pranks? But it’s all real, the phone number works (1-855-PRANX4U) and the three of them have indeed gotten into the pranks business via their upcoming ABC series “The Prank Panel.” Scroll below to watch the promo.
Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel is one of the executive producers on “The Prank Panel,” which airs this summer. On the show, everyday people pitch pranks targeting family members, friends and co-workers to the prankster panel — Knoxville, Andre and Sidibe. They then help plot the schemes, and serve as mentors and saboteurs as the pranks are carried out (and with the help of celebrity guest stars).

Horror-comedy film The Menu may be a little brutal to watch for some, but for those who work in the industry like recent Hell’s Kitchen winner Alex Belew, the film had plenty of moments that had him laughing, not to mention nodding in agreement.
Films like The Menu and the FX series The Bear both center on restaurants and the head chef, but each takes an entirely different turn. While The Bear and The Menu reflect on the grueling and intense aspects of cheffing, The Menu is a film about how famed Chef Slowik (Ralph Fiennes) murders his patrons.
Murder aside, Belew said even the absurdity of The Menu had some pretty realistic moments that had him rolling, while the theater was hauntingly quiet. “With The Menu, outside of the absurdity of it, I found myself laughing so much throughout that because every chef has thought about that with customers,...

Fox‘s Hell’s Kitchen: Battle of the Ages winner Alex Belew may have been favored to win by the fanbase, but Belew had his doubts during the grueling competition.
“The first couple of weeks I really was just trying to survive day to day,” Belew told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “The first plan was just don’t go home first because that would suck.” But then he felt a shift as he dominated challenge after challenge, taking on the wing competition and making the perfect lobster.
“Watching it kind of unfold on T.V., I’m like, Who is that guy?” he wondered, describing how watching himself on TV didn’t match what he was feeling during the Hell’s Kitchen experience.

Only one chef will earn the Head Chef position at Hell’s Kitchen in Atlantic City, the 250,000 cash prize, and the coveted title in the all-new, two-hour “A Finale for the Ages, Part 1/A Finale for the Ages, Part 2” season finale of Hell’s Kitchen airing Thursday, Feb. 9 (8:00-10:00 Pm Et/Pt) on Fox.

After weeks of fiery battles, “Hell’s Kitchen” Season 20 has come to an end and one competitor has come out on top, winning the Fox cooking competition and the Head Chef position at Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas. Congrats to… Trenton Garvey!
During the two-hour season finale, Chef Ramsay planned an emotional reunion for the three remaining chefs — Kiya Willhelm, Megan Gill and Trenton — before they were tasked with cooking a five-course dinner service scored by celebrity judges.
Megan and Trenton were chosen as the final two chefs, and in the second hour of the finale, they picked their brigades from a pool of their former competitors and competed in their final dinner service, after which the last chef standing was chosen. When all was said and done, it was Trenton who won “Hell’s Kitchen” Season 20.

A handful of crew of TBS’ upcoming cooking competition series Rat In The Kitchen have gone on strike over healthcare benefits.
The series, which is produced by ITV America’s Thinkfactory Media, has been shooting in Atlanta, Georgia, but certain members of the IATSE crew downed tools this week.
They say that they are not being provided healthcare benefits. Crew stood down on Thursday saying that producers have been “unresponsive” for requests for recognition. It’s thought that the crew is a mix of ITV America staff and folk from the Warner-owned studio complex.
We understand that around 10% of staff are striking but production is continuing.
The series, which is based on a buzzy British format, is fronted by Natasha Leggero. The ten-part series, which also features celebrity chef Ludo Lefebvre as a judge, follows a group of cooks competing to win a cash prize across a series of challenges.

ITV’s “The Chase” was hit with the threat of a writers’ strike last week for using non-union writers on its first season, but producers of the game show are currently in active negotiations with WGA East to resolve the dispute as the show heads towards production on a second season.
“The Chase” is currently in pre-production on Season 2, two people with knowledge of its status told TheWrap. There has not yet been a formal renewal announcement by ABC, which did not respond to TheWrap’s requests for comment on this story. Of course, there would not be all that much to picket if the show was not picked up.
“The first time we were formally contacted by Wgae on this matter was last Friday, March 12th,” ITV told TheWrap. “We responded to Wgae on Monday, March 15th to discuss an arrangement that benefits the writers whom we value and support.
