-A graduate of the University of Ottawa's theater program in 2004, the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec in acting in 2007 and the National Theatre School of Canada's directing program in 2009, Pierre Antoine Lafon Simard has been a performer, director and artistic and general manager of Théâtre du Trillium since October 2016, where he was also associate artist for the 2011-2012 season. With this company, he has performed in and directed several creations, including "Taram" (2011), based on the universe of artist Marjolaine Beauchamp, "Déluge" (2012), "Les Mains de Jonathan" (2013), a co-production with Théâtre La Rubrique. Throughout his artistic career, he has also held the positions of artistic coordinator of Gatineau's Espace René-Provost, artistic director of the Festival de l'Outaouais émergent, lecturer and teacher, artistic director and co-founder of Montreal's Creative Mornings, and communications manager for playwright Annabel Soutar's company Porte Parole. From 2013 to 2016, he was assistant programmer at Usine C in Montreal. In 2020, he and Julien Morissette founded the Scène nationale du son. He is the director of "M.I.L.F." and "Néon Boréal", premiering at Zones Théâtrales 2017 and 2019 respectively.
