Stephanie Gagnon is an aspiring producer from Burlington, Ontario. She
graduated with honors from Niagara College's Film Production Program in
May 2013. Her determination to challenge herself and her limits has
lead her to produce two of Niagara College's most ambitious films
created. From producing the science-fiction drama "Recall" which set a
new standard for student films, to leading a team to Japan for one week
to film the documentary "Foreigners: Interpretations of a New World",
about untraveled students experiencing a foreign culture for the first
time, Stephanie is no stranger to the hard work of the film industry.
"Recall" has already earned three awards at Niagara College's FRAT
Awards including "Best Film", "Best Sound Design" and "Best Art
Direction", as well as winning "Best Trailer" at Brock University's
Short Shorts Film Festival. Stephanie has worked closely with Mark
Montefiore, producer of "Cas & Dylan" staring Richard Dreyfuss, giving
her the responsibility of regularly reviewing scripts and novels
considered for production, as well as assisting with funding
applications and the daily needs of the production company. Her
internship has given her industry experience and knowledge of the
business of film.
