Kimiko Ann is a native of Los Angeles, CA, but was raised in Salt Lake
City, Utah. She returned to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount
University, where she played NCAA Division I college soccer. Amongst
being a varsity athlete, Kimiko Ann discovered the LMU theatre program,
and quickly became hooked. A large focus of hers was to fuse acting and
art with social justice and human rights. She graduated in May 2013
with a BA in Theatre Arts, and a double minor in Film Studies and Peace
Studies. Kimiko Ann now continues to pursue her acting career in Los
Angeles, CA.
Her mother (Teru McPhie) was a dancer/actress, and her father (Joey Miyashima) is an actor known for Double Teamed, High School Musical, The Simpsons, The Karate Kid pt. II, and various East West Players productions.
Kimiko Ann played 4 years of NCAA Division I college soccer at Loyola Marymount University.
She has and older sister, Mika, and younger sister, Mitsu.
Her hobbies include years of competitive clogging, tap, violin, singing, and sports.
