When people think of Paramore, Hayley Williams’ bright orange hair is one of the first images that comes to mind. Now, in a new interview, Williams has revealed what inspired her to dye her hair orange in the first place, explaining that she wanted to create an “anime version” of her younger self.
“I saw a picture of myself as a baby, and I had bright orange hair,” Williams told W Magazine. “I didn’t realize that, for a short period of time, I was a little redheaded baby.” Inspired by this discovery, Williams began trying to recreate her redheaded past by employing pharmacy-bought dyes, but everything changed when Paramore went to Japan on tour in 2006.
“Japan was my heaven,” Williams said, citing Harajuku fashion and FRUiTS magazine as influences. “My standards were raised a little bit… I had already been box dyeing my hair for a while, but I really,...

This post contains major spoilers for "Fast X."
Come what may in the future, the main series of "Fast & Furious" is coming to an end, with "Fast X" now in theaters. It's been billed from the start as a two-part finale to the Fast Saga, with "Fast & Furious 11" teed up by the film's cliffhanger ending. As for what's to come in the presumed finale (assuming it doesn't actually become a trilogy)? That remains uncertain, but for those who have seen the movie, we know a couple of things for sure. 1) Dom and the gang have unfinished business with Jason Momoa's Dante. 2) The Rock is returning as Luke Hobbs to finish his business with the franchise's new big baddie.
In a mid-credits scene attached to "Fast X," we see a masked man wandering some sort of warehouse set up by Dante — the son of Herman Reyes, the main villain...

Many movies are only as good as their villain. So it goes with the "Fast and Furious" franchise that has somehow managed to produce 11 films (and counting) despite lukewarm success in the bad guy category. Our heroes, led by Vin Diesel's fearless Dominic Toretto, have gone toe-to-toe with a staggering collection of veteran actors with mixed results, often achieving victory relatively quickly in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
Thankfully, a handful of notable evil-doers in the "Fast Saga" stand out amongst the fleet and punch above the script on the way to bad-guy glory. With the new "Fast X" driving over box office records, we thought it'd be prudent to run through the entire series and separate the villains who kicked it into fifth gear from those stuck on neutral. So, we present all the villains in the "Fast and Furious" franchise (including Jason Momoa) ranked from worst...

This post contains spoilers for "Fast X."
It is the beginning of the end for the Fast Saga as "Fast X" has hit theaters, serving as the first part in what will be a two-film finale to the long-running series. Though Vin Diesel has indicated that it could turn into a trilogy. In any event, Universal Pictures is beginning to wind things down with Dom Toretto and the gang. As expected, that means a lot of familiar faces from the past are going to reappear before all is said and done. But one wildly unexpected face did make a return, albeit in a very "blink and you'll miss it" sort of way. Depending on how things shake out, it does suggest a possible, more meaningful return in "Fast & Furious 11."

For months now, thanks to the steady drumbeat of both Universal’s ace marketing department and various members of the cast on social media, we have been informed that “Fast X,” the tenth movie in the franchise, is “the beginning of the end of the road.” And that an eleventh film, once again directed by French filmmaker Louis Leterrier (who joined the series after creative differences led to Justin Lin leaving “Fast X” mid-production), is soon on the horizon.
Everybody is back for “Fast X,” from series regulars like Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster and Sung Kang to more recent additions like John Cena, Nathalie Emmanuel and Jason Statham, to car-loving characters completely new to the franchise like Brie Larson, Alan Ritchson, Jason Momoa (stealing every scene he’s in), Daniela Melchior and, for some reason, Rita Moreno. Not only are there few franchises bigger in the history of popular cinema than "Fast & Furious," but the so-called Fast Saga may also be the most unlikely multi-billion-dollar enterprise that Hollywood has ever created. A series of movies about street racing and (relatively) petty crime miraculously morphed into a grand, globe-trotting saga boasting an A-list ensemble cast of talent. For years, the tip of that pyramid was doubly headed up by Vin Diesel's Dom Toretto and Paul Walker's Brian O'Connor, dating back to 2001's "The Fast and the Furious."
Sadly, Walker passed away during the production of 2015's "Furious 7," marking the end of an incredibly promising career far too soon. But the saying "the show must go on" certainly applied here, with Dom and the gang soldiering on without Walker's Brian O'Connor in the years since the actor's tragic death. With 2001's "The Fast and the Furious," a franchise that loves badass (and illegal) street races and fast cars was birthed. We've come a long way since the first film that started it all — since Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) raced together to dodge a fast-approaching train, the stakes have only gotten bigger, with the fate of the franchise's world being at stake. There's something larger-than-life about the increasingly audacious set pieces in the "Fast & Furious" franchise, which loves all vehicles apart from the cars it loves to race, drift, and launch into the air to perform near-impossible stunts. Ludicrous action scenes are thrown into the mix, including an old Pontiac Fiero being hurled into space while two characters are still inside in "F9." How a long-enduring franchise managed to jump from cool-as-heck, ground-level street racing to vehicles crashing into a satellite in space is mind-boggling.

Jason Momoa is really happy he finally got to play a villain. While the "Aquaman" star has technically played the odd antagonist in lesser known films, there's no doubt he's better known for his more heroic roles, which is ... basically all of them. But in "Fast X" we'll get to see the actor tap into his evil side, and no one is more excited about it than Momoa himself.
Speaking to Variety, Momoa said he had the "time of [his] life" starring in "Fast X" as Dante Reyes, the son of drug lord Hernan Reyes (who served as the bad guy in 2011's "Fast Five"). The actor also promised his character will be "very sadistic" with some definite "daddy issues." Which, in a franchise that features family as one of its central themes, will no doubt provide some intriguing tension as Dante looks to take revenge against Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel...

Surprise! "Fast X," in keeping with the "Fast & Furious" tradition of having the movies be all about family, will feature a cameo from the late Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow Walker. Her presence in the film was revealed by Walker personally on Instagram, with a photo showcasing a tiny bit of her role in the upcoming blockbuster.
Walker didn't say specifically who she will be playing or how her character fits into the globe-trotting adventure, which features Jason Momoa as the villain. She did describe it as a "cameo," however, so one assumes it won't be a ton of screen time. It also appears as though she is on a plane in the photo. Is it a nice, quiet flight? Or is this going to be part of one of the movie's wild action sequences? Time will tell.

Paul Walker enjoyed a lengthy career in Hollywood that carried him through various roles in several unique movies before his unfortunate death in 2013 at just 40 years old. Fans likely remember him best as Brian O'Conner in the "Fast and Furious" franchise, but the talented and handsome actor also appeared in critical hits such as "Pleasantville," "Joy Ride," and Clint Eastwood's "Flags of Our Fathers," and served as executive producer on the films "Vehicle 19," "Hours," and "Pawn Shop Chronicles." He even enjoyed a guest spot on National Geographic's "Expedition Great White" in 2009.
In his youth, Walker popped up in a variety of high-profile TV shows, among them "Highway to Heaven," "Charles in Charge," "Who's the Boss," and "Touched by an Angel," before making the leap to schlocky B-movie horror films such as "Tammy and the Rex," opposite Denise Richards, in which his character's brain somehow lands inside a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The director of Fast X has confirmed that Paul Walker’s Brian O’Conner is returning for the movie, but this is a huge mistake. The final scene of F9 heavily teased that Brian would be returning in some capacity, but the full extent of it was not known. Paul Walker tragically passed away in a car accident during the production of Furious 7 in November 2013. Production of Furious 7 was halted while Vin Diesel and the studio discussed the options on how to carry forward with Brian O’Conner in the franchise. Paul Walker’s brothers, Cody and Caleb Walker, stepped in to finish

The "Fast & Furious" franchise is one of the most fascinating things to have happened to Hollywood in the past two decades or so. 2001's "The Fast and the Furious" was essentially a mid-budget "Point Break" knock-off, yet it birthed a massively expensive (and lucrative) property that's become the only real competitor to "Mission Impossible" in terms of outlandish stunts, as well as the only real competitor to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in terms of complex (and often frustrating) lore. This is a franchise where seemingly every other character has a secret family member and where every villain either dies battling the heroes or goes on to join the fambly.

When Paul Walker tragically died in the midst of production on Furious 7, Brian O’Conner’s story was completed thanks to CG doubles and Walker’s own brothers. Against all odds, Brian was given a touching sendoff, but the franchise has obviously continued and the absence of Paul Walker has been very noticeable. In the first trailer for Fast X, we get to see Paul Walker return as Brian in footage from Fast Five, but it’s hard to imagine the series wrapping up without a proper appearance from the character.

"Fast X" will bring the Toretto gang back together for yet another wild ride: Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson and Nathalie Emmanuel will reunite with Vin Diesel as their respective characters. Brie Larson, Daniela Melchior and Alan Ritchson are also tapping in as new additions. But there are quite a few returning players involved in the production as well, faces that "Fast" fans will likely recognize.
We've already learned that the film's Big Bad, Dante (Jason Momoa) is actually the son of "Fast Five" villain Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida), and it seems that events and characters from other "Fast" films are fair game as well. Despite the 10 films under the "Fast & Furious" banner — each at varying levels of quality — the franchise's first sequel, "2 Fast 2 Furious," is still something of a black sheep within the saga. A lot of it has to do with the wild change in locale, which pivoted from Dominic Toretto's (Vin Diesel) Nos-fueled thieving in Los Angeles to follow the street racing scene in Miami with Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker). Compared to the grounded thrills of its predecessor — and the American muscle that supported a lot of that action — "2 Fast" felt like a completely different world. Fortunately, director John Singleton wasted absolutely no time immersing us in that world and introducing audiences to the custom-painted imports, campy Y2K threads, and memorable characters that lived in it.

Before Fast X races into theaters, NBCUniversal has treated extended members of the Fast family with The Fast and the Furious Legacy Trailer, taking us back to where it all began for Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto and his band of thieves. The slick footage brings us back to the franchise’s start, with The Fast and the Furious, directed by Rob Cohen. In the film that started it all, Los Angeles police officer Brian O’Conner must decide where his loyalty lies when he becomes enamored with the street racing world he has been sent undercover to destroy. The action-packed street racing extravaganza stars a baby-faced Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Rick Yune, Chad Lindberg, Matt Schultze, and more.
The Fast and the Furious Legacy Trailer is, without a doubt, a cog in the hype machine for Fast X, the penultimate chapter of the core Fast and Furious series of films.

We all know that Vin Diesel is a big fan of the Family element in the Fast & Furious movies. And particularly that of his character, Dominic Toretto. As time moves forward for the Fast crew, Dom's young son Brian is aging up too, and will be played in Fast X by Leo Abelo Perry.

It’s sort of amazing just how far The Fast and the Furious franchise has come—that it is even a franchise at all—when you consider where we started. The 2001 film could very easily have been a cheesy CW-esque drama fueled by biceps and bravado. But amid the roaring engines and nitrous-boosted action, there was the kernel of something special. The relationship between Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) elevated the film above base melodrama, and even though many of the subsequent films struggled to recapture the magic, the fifth attempt finally realized the series’ great potential.
Fast Five remains the purest distillation of the series and its overall greatest installment. The drama is believable, the cast is large but not unwieldy, and the action scenes are some of the best Hollywood has yet to produce. Fast Five...

The "Fast & Furious" franchise is, without a doubt, one of the most delightfully entertaining series of films to come out within the last two decades. Gearheads and non-car enthusiasts alike can all find something to love in the movies. The first film, which roared into theaters in 2001, tells the story of Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), an undercover cop who is trying to get enough evidence to arrest Dominic Toretto, the lead mastermind behind a series of car heists that have been occurring in LA. However, while undercover, Brian befriends Dom and his crew, which ultimately leads to him helping Dom evade arrest at the film's end.
