To celebrate the upcoming digital, Blu-ray, and DVD release of “Poor Things,” an evening filled with food, fashion, and fantastical fun inspired by the film was held at The Ebell of Los Angeles on February 22. The event also featured a special performance by Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson from “Dancing with the Stars.” “Poor Things'” Oscar-nominated costume designer Holly Waddington was in attendance with costumes from the film.
Attendees enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres (Oysters anyone? How about these delightfully wicked deviled eggs?), an epic charcuterie spread, a “sweet and savory” buffet and even “walking ice cream.” Champagne flowed alongside the Bella Baxter signature cocktail.

So You Think You Can Dance has looked to its own past to find a judge to step in for the departed Nigel Lythgoe.
JoJo Siwa, who served as a judge on the Fox show’s 17th season in 2022, will rejoin the panel for season 18. The singer and actress will join Sytycd all-star and choreographer Allison Holker and former Dancing With the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy at the judges’ table for season 18, which is set to premiere March 4.
Lythgoe, a co-creator of So You Think You Can Dance, left the show in early January after being sued by Paula Abdul, who claimed that Lythgoe sexually assaulted her during their time working together on both American Idol — where Abdul was a judge and Lythgoe an executive producer — and Sytycd.

“Dancing with the Stars” premiered in 2005 with a focus on teaching celebrities some fancy footwork. But along the way the professional dancers who teach and partner with those celebrity amateurs became stars in their own right. Many of them returned to the show year after year, and over a dozen have won the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy over the course of the series. Scroll down to see every single “DWTS” pro champion, listed by their number of victories.
It’s fitting that the “DWTS” pros have become fan-favorites because they’re not just dancers. They’re also trainers, choreographers and storytellers, and their chemistry with the stars fuels the show’s best routines, so they’re truly the lifeblood of the competition, especially when they bring talent and charisma out of unexpected places, from child stars to race car drivers to one male model, Nyle Dimarco, who won the Mirror...

“Dancing with the Stars” Season 32 is back and it’s a bit different Season 31 — including having a new (old) home. Here’s everything to know about the season.
Where is “Dancing with the Stars” Season 32 airing?
ABC and Disney+. That’s right. After one season exclusively on Disney+, “Dancing” returned to ABC for Season 32, which will also stream live on Disney+. It is the first series to be simulcast on ABC and Disney+. Episodes will also be available the next day on Hulu.
“I’m very happy we’re back on ABC,” Derek Hough told TV Insider in June. “I think it was fantastic that we moved to Disney+ for a season. It did great, but I think that there’s definitely [still] an audience on ABC, a very loyal audience that may have missed out on last season. It’s groundbreaking in that I’ll be on both platforms as the same time.

We thought there was a possibility that “Most Memorable Year Night” on “Dancing with the Stars” would be a non-elimination night, but alas, Oscar winner Mira Sorvino was sent home at the end of the evening. Gold Derby contributor Cordell Martin “was kind of bummed that Mira went home earlier than I think we would love for her to go,” but “she was just one of those contestants … who’s really good, but just couldn’t find her footing in terms of being at the top of the leaderboard or having that strong fan base to carry her through.” Watch Martin’s slugfest with Jeffrey Kare and Daniel Montgomery above.
We didn’t just shed tears for Sorvino, though. “Most Memorable Year” was also the night the show paid tribute to late judge Len Goodman, who died this past April after appearing on the show since its debut in 2005. Pro...

Sharna Burgess‘ absence from Dancing With the Stars‘ Len Goodman tribute was a grave oversight that her “family in the ballroom” should have spoken up about, her fianceé and former DWTS partner Brian Austin Green said Wednesday on social media.
“I can’t begin to tell you how disappointed I was for @SharnaBurgess to not be invited for the tribute last night,” Green posted on Instagram. “It’s disappointing as well that note of her ‘family in the ballroom’ stuck up for her or spoke out. She’s an incredible soul and has always been a friend to everyone. She deserved better.

“Len was just charming, and that’s how I remember him even at 12-years-old,” said ballroom dancer, six-time Mirror Ball champion and now “Dancing with the Stars” judge Derek Hough on “Most Memorable Year Night.” He was reminiscing about Len Goodman, who had judged “DWTS” since its very first season in 2005. But he decided to retire from the show at the end of the 2022 season, and then he passed away in April 2023. The show paid tribute to the late, great Goodman with a special group dance. Watch the entire segment above.
“He’s been in my life since the very beginning,” remembered Mark Ballas. Indeed, for many “DWTS” pros Goodman’s influence began well before the dance competition series first came on the air almost two decades ago. “He was very well respected within the ballroom community,” explained Kim Johnson-Herjavek. Ballas added, “He was a big-time judge when we were all starting to compete.

Shoutout to the incredible wardrobe team, who kill it especially during “Disney Night.” To get things started, the pros took to the ballroom for a dance to “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto, put together by Christopher Scott. Of course, we do talk about Bruno Tonioli, who readied his paddle along with fellow judges Derek Hough and Carrie Ann Inaba. Their scores combined with viewer voting ended the fairy tale for another twosome. Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro broke the sad news Adrian Peterson and Britt Stewart would be going home.

Supermodel Tyson Beckford showed new sides to himself this season on Dancing With the Stars. Alas, his quest to win the newly named Len Goodman Mirror Ball trophy came to an end last night after he and pro dancer Jenna Johnson were voted off the show. The couple had scored a mere 20 points (out of a possible 40) for their Foxtrot to “Master Blaster (Jammin’)” by Stevie Wonder on Motown Night. Before exiting the ballroom, the couple chatted with TV Insider after the live taping ended. Beckford was sorry to his journey come to an end, but he is happy that he accomplished certain goals. “I feel like America is so used to seeing me in music videos and in a couple of movies and TV shows, but they didn’t really get to see my personality till now,” Beckford says. “Every day on a show like this is grueling. Good news from the ratings people: ABC says the season 32 premiere of Dancing With The Stars held even with the series’ prior season on the network in fall 2021, when it averaged 6.50 million viewers. That means the people who used to love their favorite fringe show before it moved to Disney+ for Season 31 came back to re-enjoy their favorite fringe show!
This isn’t the worst news. Though DWTS remains a loss leader, it’s a loss leader we all need — more than we truly can appreciate these days. What was it that they sang at the beginning of tonight’s episode? It’s just an invitation across the nation, a chance for folks to meet. There’ll be laughing, singing and music swinging, dancing in the street!
Time to kick off Motown Night with guest host Michael Strahan, who’s really not that bad with the superlatives when it comes to judging the celebrity hoofers.

Singer Jason Mraz who was tied at the top of the leaderboard last week, earned the first “9”s of the season on Tuesday night’s “Dancing With the Stars.” Later in the show, “Vanderpump Rules” star Ariana Madix, who danced in flats due to a possible unrevealed injury, was shocked to also be given two “9”s and two “8” scores.
Mraz and partner Daniella Karagach shook it up for Motown Night with a spirited Jive to “Do You Love Me” by The Contours. Carrie Ann Inaba called it “brilliant,” while Derek Hough raved that Mraz made the dance look “effortless.” Tonioli gushed that it was “like watching a scene from a movie.”

It’s Motown Night on “Dancing with the Stars” this week and nothing says “Motown” more than… Michael Strahan. The “Good Morning America” co-anchor will guest-judge the remaining 12 couples’ routines to soul hits.
Prepare yourself for a whole lotta foxtrots. Half of the dances are foxtrots and the other six are two quicksteps, one cha-cha, one tango, one rumba and one jive. Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach have the jive, marking the second consecutive week they are the only couple assigned a particular dance style (last week was rumba). Tptb are really testing out his extra vertebrae, huh?
After sitting out last week due to Covid-19, Artem Chigvintsev is back in the ballroom this week with Charity Lawson.
