"For the protection of the audience." Don't speak the cursed words, and you may live through the night. Or just grab a pint, and enjoy as everyone else goes mad. Cursed Words is the latest horror short film made by the Staszkiewicz Bros, British filmmakers named Joe & Lloyd Stas. These are the same guys who made the fantastic Spooky Club horror short a few years ago. Set in a small British pub, all hell breaks loose when a man reads three words from a mysterious, bloodstained letter. This stars Ryan Lane, Olivia Newton, Michael Muyunda, Martin Valentine, Ben Galler, Helen Booden, Tom Stas, and Lilou Stas, with Chewie the dog. As violent & bloody as it is, this falls into the category of "fun" horror more than anything. Thanks to Lloyd for the tip. I’ve got a great sci-fi fantasy comedy short film for you to check out today called The Worst Planet on Earth. The short was produced by Sam Raimi, and it tells the wild and crazy story of an astronaut named Penny who is trying to find her way home after being trapped in a future where humanity has become extinct. She is joined on her journey by a new friend and useless wizard named Cola.
The film was also produced by Debbie Liebling. The film itself was directed by Joe and Lloyd Stas. They previously made a fantastic Halloween short film called Spooky Club a couple of years ago. After Raimi saw that short, he got in touch with filmmakers and wanted work with them on some more projects. The Worst Planet on Earth is one of those projects.

Meet Penny and Cola. This short film rules!! The Worst Planet On Earth is a funky new sci-fi + fantasy + comedy short film from the Stas Brothers, better known as Joe Stas & Lloyd Stas. Ever since featuring their horror short Spooky Club a few years ago, they've been developing new projects with none other than Sam Raimi. The Worst Planet On Earth is their latest short film proof-of-concept, set in the future when humanity is extinct and the planet has become a dumping ground. In an attempt to re-open the wormhole so that she can return home, Penny the astronaut and her new best friend, an incompetent wizard named Cola, raise an evil overlord named Bone-Bone. Armed with a ray gun and a magic rock, the pair of outcasts set out to destroy him. Starring Olivia Newton and Michael Muyunda. Pause what you're doing and watch this. Thanks to Lloyd for the tip on this.

This humorous short film, "M is For Merry Christmas," is an entry for the ABC's of Death Part 2 competition. It was created by Joe and Lloyd Stas for Holomax, and the story centers on Krampus, Santa's evil counterpart. He is tired of being the bad guy and starts talking with his friend about making a change. This short has a great style and vibe to it, and I really enjoyed it. If you like the short as well, click here and vote for it!
