Everything Everywhere All at Once won four awards including the marquee Ensemble in a Motion Picture at the 29th annual SAG Awards, which were handed out Sunday night at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
Michelle Yeoh won Female Actor in a Leading Role for A24’s Everything Everywhere, which bolstered its claim as Best Picture front-runner at the Oscars after claiming the top film prize at the Producers Guild Awards last night. Yeoh and Tár‘s Cate Blanchett have been trading lead actress wins on the awards circuit, and tonight’s win could put the former in the driver’s seat as the Movie Academy’s Actors branch is its largest by far.

“The White Lotus: Sicily” made the move from limited series to drama series at the 2023 SAG Awards, and things paid off splendidly as the HBO show was nominated in two categories: Best Drama Ensemble and Best Drama Actress for Jennifer Coolidge. Season 2 of The White Lotus has officially come to a close – and audiences finally learned who died in that very shocking, very unexpected final episode.
The second installment of creator Mike White’s Emmy-winning social satire opened with Daphne (Meghann Fahy) discovering a dead body in the water, off the beach of the Sicilian luxury hotel where she was staying with her husband Cameron (Theo James) and their two friends, Harper (Aubrey Plaza) and Ethan (Will Sharpe).
As hotel manager Valentina (Sabrina Impacciatore) assessed the scene, it was soon revealed by her employee, Rocco (Federico Ferrante), that there was more than one dead body.
Since then, audiences have eagerly been guessing which guests will turn up dead – and what led to their demise – as the remaining six episodes unfolded. And in the finale, “Arrivederci,” all was revealed. [Warning: Spoilers below!]
So, in the end, the dead bodies belonged to Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge), who was discovered by Daphne,...

Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers up through Episode 6 of “The White Lotus,” airing Sundays on HBO and streaming on HBO Max.
Sabrina Impacciatore’s Valentina finally lets loose in this week’s installment of “The White Lotus,” which follows the last episode’s shocking sex scene — seemingly between an uncle and his nephew — with a more tender moment of intimacy between the uptight hotel manager and Mia (Beatrice Grannò), the free-spirited aspiring singer.
After seducing and accidentally drugging Giuseppe (Federico Scribani), sending him to the hospital, Mia takes over as the hotel’s substitute piano player by appealing to Valentina’s deepest fears and desires. “You’re gay, right? I’m a little bit gay too,” she tells her. “Give me this job, and I promise you and I can have some fun.” It’s a bold proposal, but instead of offending Valentina, it strikes a deep, emotional chord.

Mike White's "The White Lotus" is back, and for the second year in a row, there's some trouble in paradise on the horizon. This time, it comes in the form of a corpse floating in the ocean on glamorous housewife Daphne's (Meghann Fahy) last day at the resort, plus what sounds like two more bodies somewhere on the hotel premises.
"The White Lotus" cleverly avoids writing itself into a corner with an opening scene that includes a super-preliminary conversation between resort manager Valentina (Sabrina Impacciatore) and her employee Rocco (Federico Ferrante). In it, Rocco tells her that a guest drowned, as well as that "Salvatore says other bodies have been found." Though he doesn't use the word murder, he does say that "other guests have been killed." This scene is deliciously vague, leaving it unclear whether all of these deaths were accidental or purposeful, whether they were related, and even if they're all confirmed.

Who is the most unnerving guest at the White Lotus luxury resort? Last year, the award went to Olivia, the Nietzsche-reading, boomer-loathing ice queen played by Sydney Sweeney. But this Halloween, she’s been dethroned by Aubrey Plaza’s Harper – a right-on employment lawyer with a deep disdain for Ted Lasso. She’s a stone-cold b**** and I can’t get enough of her.
From the second Harper’s pedicured toes touch down at the hotel’s Sicilian offshoot in The White Lotus season two, we know she will be trouble. Even Mount Etna begins to quake. And that’s never buono. While Harper’s holiday companions – her rich entrepreneur husband Ethan (Will Sharpe), insurance bro Cameron (Theo James) and his irrepressible wife Daphne (Meghann Fahy) – are all sunny smiles, she scowls behind designer sunglasses, turning down the welcome flute of prosecco because she’s been travelling on an empty stomach.

Pack your bags, folks — the time has finally come for another stay at "The White Lotus." Just make sure to line those suitcases with something protective because when rogue hotel managers decide to seek vengeance, they really don't hold back.
The first season of Mike White's HBO hit took viewers to an exclusive Hawaiian resort where wealthy hotel guests hoped to relax and rejuvenate in paradise. Unbeknownst to them, relaxation was never really in the cards; the first episode began by promising a week that ends in at least one death. This time around, the miniseries turned anthology will take place in Sicily, where a new group of vacationers are looking to relax at a White Lotus resort. Will their vacation also be interrupted by disaster? Absolutely! In fact, according to returning star Jon Gries, the upcoming season will be even more shocking than the first.

After an internet-dominating first season, The White Lotus is back for season two, now set in Sicily with a whole new cast — and the return of Jennifer Coolidge.
“Jennifer is my friend, we’ve been friends for a long time — 15, 17 years — and we always talked about working together. Then the last season happened, she was so well received on the show, and so I was just like, ‘We can’t go to Italy and not bring Jennifer, she’ll kill me,'” creator Mike White told The Hollywood Reporter at the show’s Los Angeles premiere Thursday, of the decision to bring back Coolidge’s clueless millionaire Tanya McQuoid.
