Supergirl‘s belated salute to Valentine’s Day could have doubled as the weirdest Bachelorette finale I’ve ever seen.

Two suitors remained at the top of Monday’s episode: Mon-El, the reformed bad boy from Daxam, and Mxyzptlk, the smarmy charmer from the Fifth Dimension. And following an hour of made-for-tv drama — honestly, I half expected Chris Harrison to emerge from behind an icicle in the Fortress of Solitude to take over hosting duties — Kara did, in fact, agree to marry one of her suitors.

For the record, Peter Gadiot is fully aware that he’s playing the CW version of Mr. Mxyzptlk, one of the zaniest — and traditionally unattractive — characters in the DC Universe.
PhotosSupergirl First Look: Alex and Maggie Celebrate Their First Valentine’s Day
“I was as surprised by anyone when I did the research and saw how he is usually,” Gadiot tells TVLine ahead of his character’s debut on Monday’s Supergirl (8/7c). “I think they did an interesting take in that they kept the essence of the character true to the origin, but they made him more relatable and updated.

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about shows including Homeland, Arrow, Nashville and Scandal!
1 | Did Hawaii Five-0‘s Melissa occasionally let slip a look suggesting that she was mulling a more (ahem) Cinemax-appropriate ending to her, Danny, Steve and Lynn’s Valentine’s double date?
2 | Did Emerald City‘s “handiwork” between Lady Ev and Jack forever run The Wizard of Oz‘s “Oil me” scene for you?
3 | The way Homeland‘s Carrie has been quickly and easily shuttled between New York City and Washington,...

Don’t bother paging Dr. Robbins when Grey’s Anatomy returns on Sept. 22 (8/7c, ABC), ’cause she’s not going to respond.
Jessica Capshaw, who gave birth to her fourth child in May, will be sitting out the first two episodes of Season 13, according to series creator Shonda Rhimes. “Jessica was very, very delightfully pregnant at the end of last year, so she’s… taking a little bit of time off [to be with her] kids,” she told EW.com. “But then she’s back.”

It's not every week that a generation's best-known political pundit signs off for the last time, which is why most of the TV-related headlines over the past several days have been about Jon Stewart: his social legacy, his style of humor and what he might do next. If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.
This may be the wrong way to wake up, but in the video below you can watch tarantulas crawl all over Jimmy Fallon.
On Monday night, Jimmy had a visit from Jeff Musial's animal kingdom, including an adorable Siberian lynx, a red kangaroo, and a couple of Mexican white and red-kneed tarantulas. Jimmy looked uncomfortable through the whole thing, even before Jeff randomly put a tarantula on his shoulder. Jimmy kept repeating, "I don't like spiders," but apparently Jeff got the Ok from someone because he kept adding tarantulas onto his head, face and hand. Poor Jimmy looked traumatized. It didn't help that Jeff kept shouting "Don't move!

Remember "Joe Millionaire," the cruel twist on dating show conventions that allowed a fleet of love-hungry women to chase a handsome guy on national TV under the misconception he had a ton of money when the reality was he was mostly broke? Ah, those were the days. Fox is back at it again with "I Wanna Marry 'Harry'" (premiering Tues. May 27 at 8:00 p.m. Et). The show has found a lookalike for the Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales (aka Prince Harry) in regular guy Matthew Hicks. Now, 12 suckers, I mean American women, get a chance to date him! Obviously, these women can't be the sharpest knives in the drawer if they think a royal this high up in the line of succession is going to look for love on an American reality TV show, but then again, a free vacation in England may have been temptation enough. The ladies include a preschool teacher,...

The premiere of The Bachelor’s 18th season introduced Juan Pablo Galavis to the 27 women who will be vying for a rose and his heart over the next few months.
'The Bachelor' Recap
Opening up the show was a montage of testimonials from a number of the women. They share information about their families, their professions and what they think about the newest bachelor. “Sexy” was a favorite adjective of the ladies to describe Juan Pablo, who they all hope to get the final rose from.
Meanwhile, Juan Pablo once again is featured as the doting father that he is with his four-year-old daughter Camila. He’s also captured running shirtless on the beach, and once again, detailing what he’s looking for in his ideal woman. There to help him figure that out is former Bachelor star Sean Lowe who is set to marry the woman he picked,...

If you watched the first ten minutes of The Bachelor premiere you saw Juan Pablo Galavis shirtless — a lot. So obviously you kept watching with me, to see that his 27 finalists quickly were narrowed down to 18! That was fast . . . and not all the girls were very happy how things were going.
‘The Bachelor’ Premiere: Juan Pablo Looks For Love
Before Juan Pablo met the ladies, he called up a guy who knows a little about the experience — the last bachelor, Sean Lowe. Sean, bright blue eyes and all gave the single dad a little advice: be upfront about not being good with names, have fun,...
