Flynn started her acting career in 1987, working for a week on the John
Hughes film, "Planes, Trains and Automobiles," and landing the lead in
a commercial for Germania Bank. She also acted in local theatre
productions. In 1988 she moved to Phoenix, AZ, and worked several weeks
on the TV series, "The Highwayman," and then the TV movie, "Unholy
Matrimony." While in Phoenix, Flynn auditioned and was selected to
attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, LA, graduating in 1990.
Further training: RADA, London, England, earning her (Certificate in
Advance Shakespeare Studies-1991); Tisch School of the Arts, NYU, NY,
(BFA in Drama-1996); and SIUE, Edwardsville, IL. (M.A. in American and
English Literature-2002).
Since training Flynn has acted in many theatre productions, also film,
and television, and commercials.
