Mr. Kevin Williams also known as "KW" is a Writer/Producer & award winning author & educational trainer, as well as Playwright. In 1994, Mr. Williams produced his 1st commercial music video for the "Jackson Entertainment Family." Thus, he was promoted by Mr. "Joe" Jackson as the Media-Marketing Director promoting a family owned business product known as JoCola.
KW co-produced his 1st documentary film in 2002 entitled, "From the Hood to the Hill: the next generation" with
2 time Emmy Award winner - Director/Editor- Alan Holzman. (See YouTube "From the Hood to the Hill: the next generation."). He also authored his book with the same title which is also available on Amazon.
Currently, KW directed and produced the documentary film, "Tragedy 2 Triumph", which depicts the challenges of disadvantaged youth and their mentors who face tragedies while living in Camden, NJ. This film debuts during the fall of 2017 in independent theatre's in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Maryland and Washington, DC. He also is filming the sequel of the documentary film entitled- "American Unity: Tragedy 2 Triumph For Real," which depicts the tragedy of a divided Nation with triumphant stories defining the Real America.
As a Playwright, Mr. Williams received front page credits from the Washington Post which acclaimed that his "interactive 5 part play - 'So How Ya Livin Now,' debuted in Washington, DC was written for a live television full house audience over a five (5) week period in Spring 2006."
KW continued his producing & writing with his 1stscreenplay movie originally entitled "David 2020" with a sequel written for television entitled "2040" that has been reviewed by a major Hollywood Studio who provided favorable coverage with an interest to produce the film. KW continues his negotiations with various television cable and film studios as a Producer & Writer with several of his other film and made for television projects such as: "Black Widows Sting,"(blockbuster film) "Millennials Gone Mad," being pitched to MTV and "Mr. Think Big & Friends being pitched to Disney. In 2012, Mr. Williams acquired the 50-year institution known as Columbia School of Broadcasting that has graduated over 26,000 alumni in the United States and within 30 countries.
Mr. Williams also created the vision for establishing a new generation of film makers, television producers and broadcasters, both nationally and internationally. Thus, the formation of Dream 2 Destiny TV and more recently NuHollywood to establish a bridge of ("Nationally United") talent along the East Coast.
His extensive media training to young millennials has also enabled Mr. Williams to receive numerous awards for training inner city youth in TV/Film. Such awards included the Freddie Mac- Washington Leadership Award in 2004, Kennedy Foundation Award in 2010 (co-recipient with NJEA) and more recently the Paul Roberson Award in 2017 in Philadelphia
