Born in Rm-Sarat, Andreia Dobrota attended the "Margareta Sterian" art High school in Buzau and continued on her art passion with the National University or Art, Bucharest. In August 2013 she
graduated from a Master of Animation at AKV St. Joost Academy in Breda, Netherlands.
In September 2010 started working on the weekly televised animation show called "D-ale noastre" which was broad casted on TvSat channel, a local network primarily available for the south east regions of Romania. A satire on the political, economical and social aspects of Romania. The show ended after 115 episodes on April 2013. One of the episodes was screened at the "Filmul de piatra" short film festival in Piatra Neamt in 2011.
Andreia Dobrota makes her animation festival debut in 2010 at Anim'est animation festival with the short film "Mad world". Two years later she attends the same festival with a 3D animation called "UNARTE" about the experience of a student at the National University of Art in Romania.
The graduation film "Get happy or get out" about a man who's false happiness ends up suffocating
him was made in collaboration with other young artists and got great reviews from its release in 2013.
