It’s been a rough few months for members of Britain’s royal family as they have been trying to navigate operating in a new slimmed-down monarchy with two key working royals out of commission.
In January, it was revealed that King Charles and the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) were both hospitalized. After the monarch had a routine procedure for an enlarged prostate, the Palace announced that tests determined the king had cancer and was undergoing treatment. Meanwhile, concerns were growing and there was speculation about his daughter-in-law’s health following her abdominal surgery and lengthy recovery time.
In March, Kate revealed her own cancer diagnosis and that she, too, was undergoing treatment. With two top working royals needing to take a break and shelf their engagements, other working members of the royal family have had to ramp up their duties. King Charles III was just spotted attending an Easter church service with other members of the royal family. It was the king’s first outing since he revealed his cancer diagnosis back in February 2024, and while he has been seen driving places and has continued to attend meetings as king, this was his first time making a true public appearance.
The king has been taking time to focus on his health, but he did give a brief update when asked to “get well soon.”

The wait is almost over for fans of Netflix’s The Crown as the countdown to the new and final season is on.
It’s no secret that season 6 is going to include one of the most unforgettable and tragic moments in the history of the royal family. As viewers prepare to grab a box of tissues and watch the series’ depiction of what happened on Aug. 31, 1997, someone who actually lived through it will also be watching. However, that former aide has slammed the new season as “upsetting” and “distasteful” for recreating the car crash that took Princess Diana’s life.

Prince William and Prince Harry’s tension might have started years earlier than we realized. The two princes, sons of King Charles and the late Princess Diana, certainly had an unconventional upbringing having grown up in the royal family. And while they weren’t enemies, they supposedly had less in common than the public understood in the decades leading up to their eventual falling out.
One royal expert claims “the press” was the entity who “painted” the idea that Harry and William were so close growing up. And while they certainly had moments of bonding and good times, there are rumors that things weren’t always as great between the two as they seemed.

Kate Middleton didn’t want to be part of Queen Camilla’s “stern-looking pep talk” to King Charles III at Trooping the Colour, an expert says. The Princess of Wales looked at what was going on and, with one simple gesture, decided not to “get involved.” What Kate did at the 2023 Trooping the Colour when King Charles started “complaining” to Queen Camilla.
