Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque along with champions Damien Priest, Bayley, and Cody Rhodes were on-hand answer questions and discuss the night of amazing matches.
When speaking to Bayley about her Wrestlemania 40 victory over Iyo Sky to secure the Women’s Championship we asked her, with this win, not only for you, but that it was a win for the fans as well? Especially fans that are super happy to see women coming to the forefront in the WWE as well!

WrestleMania 40’s night two in Philadelphia was a spectacle of high-octane wrestling that lived up to the grandeur expected of such a storied event. The evening was headlined by a gripping match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, where Rhodes sought redemption and the chance to “finish his story” and of course the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. The “Bloodline Rules” stipulation added an intense layer of drama, with Rhodes overcoming the odds to dethrone Reigns in a stunning upset that had the Lincoln Financial Field erupting in cheers.
It was no surprise that during the match both Reigns and Rhodes has some assistance during their match from the likes of Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, The Rock, John Cena and none other than The Undertaker making brief cameo appearances.

On Night 1 of WrestleMania Xl, the Judgement Day involving Damien Priest and Finn Baylor returned empty-ended as they lost their Undisputed WWE tag team championship in a Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder match. They fought against A-Town Down Under, The Awesome Truth, #DIY, The New Day, and New Catch Republic and were left defeated at the end.
Damien Priest
However, Priest was determined to cash in his Money in the Bank contract, and he did it as he made a surprise return on Night 2. After Drew McIntyre won against Seth Rollins, Priest, with the help of Cm Punk, beat down the new champion and cemented his contract. Triple H was especially happy for Priest, and he congratulated him on social media.

Sony has removed “El Muerto,” a Marvel movie about a luchador supervillain starring Bad Bunny, from its theatrical-release calendar. The “Spider-Man” baddie’s standalone film was previously scheduled for January 12, 2024; now, per Sony, it’s “Tbd.”
An individual with knowledge of the project told IndieWire that “El Muerto” is still in development, but with the writers strike ongoing and the musician’s tour dates, rescheduling the release is complicated. “El Muerto” isn’t the first superhero movie to be impacted by the WGA strike, but there are enough challenges here to wonder if “El Muerto” will be re-slotted, or if it’s down for the count.
This morning, Sony emailed press with three updates to its domestic release calendar:
Seth Rogen’s “Dumb Money” has been moved up from October 20, 2023 to September 22, 2023. “The Book of Clarence” is being pushed back from that September 22 date to January 12, 2024. The “El Muerto” release date is now considered “Tbd.

So usually, when it comes to Which is Better, I stick to movies, with horror films regularly being the battling topic at hand. This time, though, I thought I’d turn to a controversial topic in the world of professional wrestling, and pit two competing wrestling programs against one another. This isn’t about ratings or drama or fandom, but rather a straight forward look at what I, a pro-wrestling fan who watches both WWE and Aew every week, thinks is the best show between Aew Dynamite and Nxt.
Now, this is bound to upset some people, but please, dear wrestling fan, understand that whichever outcome this article has, it doesn’t mean it’s “correct”. This is subjective, it’s all about opinions, and you can disagree, and that is your correct answer too. It is fun, though, to pit two things that are related against each other in order to choose which is,...

It’s that time again. I mean, this happens from time to time when WWE are wanting to shake up their television programming and this year is no different. As we enter into Autumn, WWE have announced a new WWE Draft will take place, beginning this Friday, the 9th of October, on WWE Smackdown.

Now, I’m treating this as an almost-complete overhaul of talent, with everyone being an option to be drafted Except for current reigning, defending champions. So, Bayley won’t be eligible as she’s the Smackdown Women’s Champion, and Drew McIntyre won’t be eligible as the WWE Champ, and Damien Priest, the Nxt North American Champion, also won’t be able to be drafted, and so on,...

It’s easy to look forward to a TakeOver show, because time has taught us that way more often than not these events are packed with drama, action and lots of wrestling. Nxt TakeOver 31, taking place at the newly renamed and remodeled into the Capitol Wrestling Center, a tribute to Jess McMahon and Vince McMahon Sr, a respectful nod to the roots of where WWE, and Nxt, began. With fans on LED boards (much like the Thunderdome) and pods featuring groups of fans, this was a new look in a year filled with shows that take another step forward in adapting to how we currently are all living. Match #1: Io Shirai def. Shotzi Blackheart The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Shotzi Blackheart quickly proved she was more than up to the task of standing toe-to-toe with the champion, putting forth a courageous effort against Io Shira. In the end though, it was The Genius of the Sky prevailing, putting Blackheart away with her patented top-rope moonsault after a worthy challenge.
My Opinion: 4.1 out of 5 – This was a hell of an opener. Io and Shotzi knocked the Mulan out of each other!

Welcome to this week’s Nxt review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and on this this episode of Nxt, we try to find out what the hell the brand’s initals actually stand for and why there’s a church in my town with the same name. Is Nxt a Christian endeavor? Is Jesus the general manager? Inquiring minds want to know! Well, as we ponder these pressing questions, let’s see what this week has in store…
Match #1: Imperium def. Breezango – Nxt Tag Team Championship Match The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Tyler Breeze & Fandango found a way to get on Imperium’s nerves even more than they already were, mocking their opponents’ signature entrance as “Emporium.” Chaos erupted with the arrival of Malcolm Bivens and Indus Sher, who were met by Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan for an all-out brawl. Aichner capitalized on the chaos,...

Another week, another episode of The Bump. I’ve reviewed the first two episodes of this show so far and been openly a fan of what they’re doing, and that doesn’t change here either. With this week’s episode, the crew, led by Kayla Braxton, return with another live guest and two guests who call in and appear on the big screen for a streaming interview, as well as some WWE chit-chat between the crew, which includes Braxton, Matt Camp, Evan T. Mack (AfterBuzz TV), Ryan Pappolla (WWE.com) and Dan Vollmayer. It’s a good cast and they each share their opinions and views in a way that feels organic, unscripted and fresh. Good stuff.
The third episode see’s talk about the week in WWE, from the WWE Draft to the episodes of Raw, Friday Night SmackDown and Nxt. We also get a live in-person interview...

Welcome to this week’s Nxt review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have Damien Priest fighting Keith Lee in the main event, so let’s bolt down our furniture and kiss our roofs goodbye, because it’s Nxt time! Did I sound like I cared, because I do?!
Match #1: Jordan Myles def. Angel Garza in the semifinals of the Nxt Breakout Tournament The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Jordan Myles’s got game, but Angel Garza’s got mind games, and that was almost enough to unravel Myles’ hopes of advancing to the Nxt Breakout Tournament Finals. Almost. From feigning a handshake at the start of the bout to playing possum midway through, Garza employed one trick after another. He complemented his psychological warfare with a concentrated attack on Myles’ lower back, a strategy that came into focus after he pulled the ring...
