Eric Michael Casalini was born in Westwood, NJ, and grew up in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. His father, Joel Goldstein, was first-generation born in the Bronx, NY, and had a career in telecommunications. His mother, Marta Goldstein, was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and raised in Massachusetts, and has a career as one of Washington DC's most prominent Interpreter/Translators. After graduating with a BA in English and a concentration in drama, Eric completed his internship at the Juilliard school in New York City in technical theater. In August 2001, he moved to Charlottesville, VA, where he pursued a career in music, playing mostly with singer/songwriter Robin Wynn, who's music has been featured on the CW's One Tree Hill and Vampire Diaries. In September 2004, Eric began post baccalaureate work beginning his MBA at the University of New Orleans, which he completed at San Diego State University.
Eric played Bobby in the short film Sunken Holiday, winner of the International Four Points Project, which screens at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022 & Officer Lowe in the short film, PIGS, written & directed by Jesus Jimenez, which was an official selection for the short corner at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
