- Composer
Born in Harlan, Iowa, on March 9, 1971, Tyler James Jacobsen became
interested in acting at a very young age, playing several roles in the
films of his cousin, writer-director Scott Allen Nollen. "His
naturalistic style made him very easy to direct, and he always knew his
lines, even at the age of six or seven," recalled Nollen.
Tyler also joined in the musical efforts of his brother, Todd "Dane" Jacobsen, and Nollen, who dubbed him with his unforgettable nickname, "Roller."
A graduate of Bemidji State University in Minnesota, Tyler was married and the father of twin girls. When not working, he often pursued the other great love of his life: fishing.
