You asked, and Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid answered. So did Delainey Hayles, Eric Bogosian, and Assad Zaman! In TV Insider’s exclusive interview (embedded above), the stars of AMC‘s Interview With the Vampire Season 2 answer fan questions submitted to us on social media. One question on many fans’ minds were what songs the cast would use to describe their character’s arcs this season. For Anderson, Taylor Swift‘s “Anti-Hero” rings true. For Reid, it’s Fiona Apple‘s “Criminal.” Bogosian and Hayles can’t help but laugh at their answers, “Walk on the Wild Side” by Lou Reed and “Livin’ in the Sunlight, Lovin’ in the Moonlight” by Maurice Chavalier. (Dive back into Zaman’s fan questions video here.) Another big question: What surprised the cast most about this season? Their answers above indicate the twists baked into Part 2 of this adaptation, brought to life by showrunner...

Michael Jackson‘s “Billie Jean” deeply impressed an important R&b musician. He said that the track could have been transformed into 12 different hit songs if Jackson had divided it up in a certain way. The R&b icon discussed how he tries to find songs similar to “Billie Jean” every day.
An R&b maetro explained why ‘Billie Jean’ is Michael Jackson’s masterpiece
Antonio “L.A.” Reid is a major pop/R&b producer. He has worked with stars like Boys II Men, Whitney Houston, and Toni Braxton. In a 2011 essay he wrote for Rolling Stone, he said the King of Pop was the best entertainer of all time, comparing him to the likes of Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and The Beatles. Reid recalled seeing The Jackson 5 at a state fair when he was young. Reid recalled Jackson’s voice resonating throughout the fairground.

The Beatles were the best rock ‘n’ roll band ever, but there was one way in which Michael Jackson surpassed them. The King of Pop was simply a better entertainer than the Fab Four. That is not to say he always made superior music — but the “Thriller” singer had some gifts that The Beatles did not.
1 way Michael Jackson’s era was better than The Beatles’
The Beatles gave the world many of the best and most innovative pop songs of all time, including “Tomorrow Never Knows,” “Strawberry Fields Forever,” and “A Day in the Life.” However, their live performances never quite lived up to the magic they made in the studio. They would play professionally, but they weren’t much for razzle-dazzle. They were a band of their time. The Beatles stopped making music before 1970s acts like David Bowie, Kiss, and Alice Cooper revolutionized live shows and made them more theatrical.

Last year, Disney faced several disappointments at the box office. The first for 2023 was the third Ant-Man film, “Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania.” Released on February 17, 2023, the film only brought in $476.1 million. While many accepted that Disney likely lost money on the film, a new report seemingly indicates that they may have lost much more than initially thought.
According to Caroline Reid from Forbes, the film’s budget was estimated by the media to be around $200 million. Still, a recent financial filing seems to indicate it was significantly higher, at $326.6 million! It seems that a financial statement was filed for the end-of-year report on December 31, 2022, which was just a few weeks ahead of the film’s release.
Where did she find the information?
Reid indicates that she found the filing by looking for the film’s code name, which she says was Pym Productions III. This makes sense as Hank...

Although the ‘Euphoria’ star is an executive producer of the hit HBO series, she said she’s “not in charge” of whether or not the third season will really happen, reports Variety.
But of course, Zendaya wants to play Rue again. “If it’s right for the characters and everything turns out the way it should, of course,” Zendaya told Variety at the ‘Challengers’ premiere in Los Angeles Tuesday night (Pacific Standard Time). “But it’s beyond me.”
As per Variety, HBO announced the postponement of ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 on March 25, saying that the network and creator Sam Levinson “remain committed to making an exceptional third season.”

A new breed of creature-features was unleashed in the 1990s and continued well into the next decade. Shaking off the ecological messaging of the past, these monsters existed for the sake of pure mayhem. Just to name a few: Tremors, The Relic, Anaconda, Godzilla, Deep Rising and Lake Placid all showcased this trend of irreverent creature chaos. Reptiles and other scaly beasts proved to be a popular source of inspiration for these films, but for that extra crawly experience, bugs were the best and quickest route. Spiders, in particular, led some of the worst infestations on screen in the early 2000s. And on the underbelly of this creeping new wave — specifically the direct-to-video sector — hangs an overlooked offering of spider horror: Arachnid.

“I don’t know another character like this.” So says Delainey Hayles, Interview With the Vampire‘s new Claudia, who takes over the once-in-a-lifetime role from Bailey Bass in Season 2. Hayles had very little time between booking the role and the start of filming, she tells TV Insider. Her guiding light (her “spark in the dark“) through the quick turnaround was Anne Rice’s 1976 novel, and her onscreen vampire family, Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid. Given the attention to every lush detail in both Rice’s novel and Rolin Jones‘ AMC adaptation, Hayles tell us that “it was very clear how I was going to approach Claudia.” Translating Bass’ performance into her own was an exciting challenge. “I think Bailey did an amazing job in Season 1,” Hayles says of her predecessor. She was “able to pick up where [Bailey] left off” because of how clearly established that fledgling vampire was. Anderson...

Interview with the Vampire Season 2: Cast, plot, premiere date, and everything else there is to know
The timeless love story at the heart of AMC’s Interview with the Vampire won many fans in 2022, but with increased delays for the second season, a lot has changed during the extended hiatus.
It’s rare for a vampire drama to offer more than it borrows from the genre, but the show managed to break through armed with many of Anne Rice’s unique storylines from the novel series.
At the time of its launch, AMC was losing The Walking Dead as the long-running zombie drama signed off after 11 seasons, so new franchises were in demand by the cabler.
Interview with the Vampire broke through with critical acclaim. The show garnered plenty of praise and solid ratings, resulting in a very early renewal for Season 2.
Now that new episodes are approaching, we must review everything we know about the upcoming season.
Get all the details below.
When will Interview with the Vampire Season 2 premiere?...

Few current Hollywood TV projects have endured as much public turmoil as the planned “Euphoria” Season 3. Sam Levinson’s HBO drama has struggled to coordinate the schedules and creative tastes of its increasingly famous ensemble cast — which includes the likes of Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Jacob Elordi — since Season 2 ended in early 2022. The show’s famously difficult shoots only added to the pressure, but Levinson and company still planned to spend summer 2024 shooting a new season that was expected to take place five years after the events of Season 2.
Those plans came to a halt on Monday, March 25, when HBO officially announced that the new season had been delayed indefinitely. “HBO and Sam Levinson remain committed to making an exceptional third season,” a representative for HBO told IndieWire at the time. “In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities.”

A long line of MSNBC’s most popular anchors spent Monday calling out the network’s corporate sibling, NBC News, for its hire of former Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel in a stunning display of internal rifts laid bare on the TV screen.
The hire of McDaniel as a contributor is “inexplicable,” Rachel Maddow said on MSNBC Monday night as part of a half-hour commercial-free monologue that painted the former politico as one in a line of fascists and would-be usurpers who have tried to take over America’s political process. Despite being significantly hit by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes in 2023, U.K. film studios and production facilities are looking to pick back up where they left off after a record-breaking year for film and high-end television production spend in 2022.
When asked what the industry can expect in terms of business in the year ahead, Samantha Perahia, head of production U.K. at the British Film Commission, says she feels positive that demand “is going to be ramping up.”
She continues, “We already know that some of our studio facilities in the U.K. are getting very busy. While not every facility in the U.K. is jampacked again, there seems to be some momentum now, which is very welcome.”
The production spend in the U.K. jumped from £726 million ($376 million) in 2016 to $7.8 billion in 2022. At the same time, the U.K. considerably expanded its studio and stage provision to...

The wait is almost over!
While Blue Bloods is almost over, we still have one more season to spend with the Reagans, and the first half is about to air.
Spoilers for Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 1 suggest the final season will kick the drama up a notch, at least judging from what's planned for the season premiere.
As usual, most of the Reagans will have their own stories -- and Danny's revolves around his former partner, Darryl Reid.
After fourteen years, it's understandable if you've forgotten Reid's original story, which aired so long ago that Linda was still alive and Danny's kids were young.
On Blue Bloods Season 6 Episode 10, Danny learned that his former partner had planted evidence against a murderer and had to race against time to find new proof the guy did it.
Don't panic if you don't recall this or weren't watching then. The new story...

Travis Kelce had his fairytale ending on Sunday night (February 11), celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl win with a kiss with superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift. However, a not-so-fairytale moment from earlier in the night stole some of the spotlight. As the Chiefs trailed against the San Francisco 49ers in the first half, a hot-headed Kelce got into a yelling match with Chiefs coach Andy Reid. In the clip, which was caught on camera and quickly went viral, the tight end pushes Reid and knocks him off balance. He’s also seen screaming at Reid, but the microphones didn’t pick up what he said. The incident occurred in the second quarter after Reid removed Kelce from a play ending with Isiah Pacheco fumbling the ball just before the end zone. Obviously, Kelce wasn’t happy with the decision and let his coach know about it. Travis Kelce looked less than enthused pic.

Update, with video: Joy Reid, caught on a hot mic last week seeming to criticize President Joe Biden by suggesting he was threatening to start “another f*cking war,” the MSNBC host appeared on ABC’s The View today and attempted to clarify her comment.
Asked by View co-host Sarah Haines whether the hot mic comment was criticizing Biden, Reid at first offered a joking “cute no comment” before expounding on the matter.
