- Nephew and adopted son of pro wrestling legend "Haku" Tonga Fifita.

Fale & Tama had been training together at the New Japan Pro Wrestling Dojo for several months, unaware of their extended family connection, until relatives alerted them to the fact, by commenting on a photo of the two posted on Facebook.
- After he was turned down by WWE for a developmental deal in 2009, Pate signed with New Japan Pro Wrestling. When WWE later offered him a contract in January 2016 to come over with Gallows, Anderson, Nakamura & AJ Styles, Pate turned it down, opting instead to stay with New Japan Pro Wrestling for another two years.
