Dominique Thorne’s Ironheart debuted in the MCU with 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. While not a protégé of Tony Stark, Riri Williams is also a brilliant tech wiz/inventor who built her own suit of armor with the help of the Wakandans in the film. The character’s spunk and charm made audiences want to see more of her in the MCU.

When the character Riri Williams (played by Dominique Thorne) made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut back in 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the idea was that we’d be seeing the character again the following year in her own Disney+ show Ironheart… but 2023 came and went without Ironheart, and the show still doesn’t have an official premiere date. This has caused some fans to speculate that Marvel and Disney+ might have decided to scrap Ironheart, along with the series Wonder Man, which had Yahya Abdul-Mateen II taking on the role of the title character, who is also known as Simon Williams and hasn’t been seen in the MCU yet. But no, Ironheart and Wonder Man are not being scrapped, and in a new interview with Agents of Fandom, Marvel Studios’ Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation Brad Winderbaum described the shows as spectacular, amazing, and different.

What better place than the 2023 Streamys for Dream — the masked Twitch streamer now signed to Mercury and Republic Records — to do a second face reveal? The Streamy Awards are promising big moments at their 13th annual ceremony on Sunday, including performances from Swedish duo Icona Pop to a reunion of Smosh comedy creators Ian and Anthony. But for presenter, drag star and podcast host Shea Couleé, the onstage moment she is most excited about is the appearance of TikToker Dylan Mulvaney.
Mulvaney is set to join Couleé, Tana Mongeau and WWE superstars Xavier Woods and Zelina Vega at the event. The social media star endured bigoted attacks after Bud Light tapped her for a branded social media post, sparking backlash and a boycott of the brand that generated headlines earlier this year.
“I’m really excited for Dylan. One thing that I really, really enjoy and love about her is her ability to remain so unbelievably positive,” Couleé told The Hollywood Reporter. “And throughout all the adversity that she’s faced, I think that she...

After 15 seasons of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and 13 international spinoffs, the franchise has launched the careers of over 400 fierce drag queens. As those performers grow their careers, a select lucky few are granted the opportunity to return to the competition to compete on the Paramount+ sister series: “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.”
So far the world has seen eight seasons of “All Stars,” with winners that include Alaska, Trixie Mattel, Shea Couleé, and Kylie Sonique Love. Given the wild success of the franchise, it’s safe to assume that plenty more fan favorites will be making return trips to the mainstage for more “All Stars” seasons. With only a few spots available for each iteration, here are 10 queens who simply must be invited back to the show for their chance at a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

Acting challenges on Ru Paul’s Drag Race have a very storied her-story on the show. while there have been some amazing performances on the show there have also have had some truly terrible ones such as the Lady McBitch challenge during season seven! However, I have to say that last week’s improvised whodunnit ‘forensic queens’ was one of my all-time favourites. Following in the footsteps of the Netflix original series Murderville or the highly successful Jury Duty show, the queens of All-Stars eight had to improvise their way through a series of scenes. In a shocking surprise, the two highlights of this challenge were Lala (who claimed her first win of the season this episode) and Jessica Wilde, who both delivered hilarious portrayals of the crooked security guard and snubbed All-Star queen respectively. Before we could even get to the challenge however there were buckets full of drama...

There has been a lot of fan speculation about Marvel Comics’ extra-dimensional demon character Mephisto showing up in a Marvel Cinematic Universe project. Many fans were sure Mephisto’s demonic mug was going to show up in WandaVision at some point… but that didn’t happen, so fans started wondering if he’ll be in the WandaVision spin-off Agatha: Coven of Chaos. It remains to be seen if that’s going to happen, but it sounds like we will see Mephisto in the Ironheart series. And it’s RUMORed that while we’ll primarily be seeing Mephisto in human form, there will be “glimpses” of his true demonic form.
Insider @CanWeGetToast claims (as reported by SuperHeroHype), “Mephisto will mostly be seen in his human form in Ironheart, while only giving Glimpses of his true form. Mephisto has The Hood stealing tech for him to build an advanced Bio-Suit in Ironheart.

Veteran Canadian-American voice actress Cree Summer has joined the cast of Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart, sources tell Deadline. A rep for Marvel declined comment.
As Deadline reported earlier this month, Sacha Baron Cohen also has been tipped for a role in the series. Since our story ran, there has been further proof that Baron Cohen has joined the MCU, something Marvel and his reps have refused to comment on. I hear he may appear later in Ironheart’s run, with Episodes 5-6 considered likely. In addition to in-person scenes, rumor is that there have been scans for CGI effects, which would indicate a superhero alter ego for Baron Cohen’s character. He is believed to be playing a comic book villain, probably Mephisto.
The six-episode Ironheart, created by Chinaka Hodge, stars Dominique Thorne as Marvel character Riri Williams, a genius inventor and creator of the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man.

Marvel fans have been theorizing about the arrival of Mephisto in the MCU for some time, particularly in the WandaVision series. That didn’t come to pass, but it feels like fans have been picking up Mephisto teases ever since. The latest rumour making the rounds is that Sacha Baron Cohen is reportedly in talks to play Mephisto, with the villain apparently making his first appearance in the upcoming Ironheart series.
According to Deadline, sources have confirmed to them that there has been talk of Sacha Baron Cohen joining the cast of Ironheart, likely as Mephisto, but Marvel representatives refused to comment. Whether Sacha Baron Cohen takes on the role of Mephisto or not, I have little doubt that the character will appear one day. Speculation has been growing that Sacha Baron Cohen has entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a role in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart as a comic book villain.
A source close to the production confirmed to Deadline that there has been talk on the set about Cohen being part of Ironheart, possibly playing Mephisto. Reps for Marvel and Cohen have refused to comment on any Cohen involvement in Ironheart or the larger MCU.
Like with any major Marvel characters, word is that Cohen would appear in other projects. If the Mephisto alter ego is confirmed, that could include the upcoming WandaVision spinoff Agatha: Coven of Chaos as Mephisto had a presence (but was never shown) on the praised mothership series starring Elizabeth Olsen.

Wa wa wee wa! Reports have come in that Sacha Baron Cohen will be playing Mephisto in Disney+’s upcoming Ironheart series. While this has yet to be confirmed, sources are confident that the actor will be portraying the Marvel character on the MCU show.
The cast of the MCU’s Ironheart is starting to fill out quite nicely, with Dominique Thorne portraying Riri Williams/Ironheart, “a genius inventor who creates the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man”, and Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins/The Hood. Years ago, Marvel writer Brian Michael Bendis said Riri Williams/Ironheart “speaks not only to the soul of the character but to the Iron Man franchise as a whole. Tony first put on the armor to save his heart. Riri puts it on for different reasons altogether but still heart-related.”
