Modern English will release a new LP, 1 2 3 4, on Feb. 23. The release marks the British group’s first new music in eight years and was produced by Mario J. McNulty. Add the quirkily titled Totally Tubular Festival to the increasing number of nostalgia live events. The touring new wave festival will hit 17 North American cities this year with a lineup led by Thomas Dolby, Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey, and Modern English.
Other notable acts include Men Without Hats, The Romantics, Bow Wow Wow, Tommy Tutone (in select markets), and The Plimsouls. The trek kicks off on June 28th in Santa Barbara, California ahead of stops in Los Angeles, Boston, New York City, and more. See the full schedule below.
