Apple TV+ has canceled “Constellation” after one season.
The series starred Noomi Rapace as Jo, an astronaut who discovered that key pieces of her life seemed to be missing upon returning to Earth after a disaster in space, and set out on a quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and recover what she’d lost. Along with Rapace, the cast included James D’Arcy as Magnus, Julian Looman as Frederic, William Catlett as Paul, Barbara Sukowa as Irena and Rosie and Davina Coleman as Alice.
“Constellation” premiered in February and ran through March. The series received a score of 71% on Rotten Tomatoes, though Variety critic Alison Herman wrote in her review that, “There’s a fine line between enticing the audience with a promise for answers and confusing them with an amorphous mass of hints and atmospherics. By straining to sustain a suspenseful mood over an entire season,...

Starring Noomi Rapace, Apple TV's eight-part series, Constellation, explores the hidden history of space travel and its effect on the human psyche. In our chat with creator/showrunner Peter Harness and director Michelle MacLaren, the premise of the show is inspired by the cognitive shift in astronauts called the "overview effect." Harness explains the phenomena and how it influenced the story while MacLaren gives us insight into how zero gravity was achieved in the studio.

The new Apple TV+ drama Constellation has atmosphere to spare. What it lacks is a story to live up to its creepy vibe.
Created by British TV vet Peter Harness, Constellation stars Noomi Rapace as Jo, a Swedish astronaut engaged in a long mission on the International Space Station. An experiment commissioned by celebrated astronaut-turned-scientist Henry (Jonathan Banks) goes tragically awry, and when Jo makes it back to Earth, everything feels off in some way. The family car is the wrong color. Her husband, Magnus (James D’Arcy), is convinced she...

There are few hours of television more heart-poundingly tense than the "Breaking Bad" train robbery episode "Dead Freight." When I saw it for the first time, a relative came home to find me excitedly pacing around the living room, trying to shake off the massive adrenaline rush that came from watching Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) pull off a seamless methylamine heist, only to have the moment undercut by rogue associate Todd's (Jesse Plemons) last-minute decision to murder a child who witnessed the crime. "Dead Freight" was thrilling a decade ago and it's still thrilling today. Somehow, though, I don't think it would've worked as well if it had involved a helicopter and a big vacuum hose.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be on the brink of restructuring their fame once again. Back in 2020, Harry and Meghan had a revelation that led them to step back from their roles as working senior royals and move to the United States, where they launched Archewell. Since then, though, the two haven’t exactly made it out of the spotlight in the way they had hoped.
Now, one expert says the two have been laying so low lately because they are once more looking for a new way forward.

When Harry and Meghan launched Archewell, it was meant to be the parent company of all of their business ventures going forward. However, the deals haven’t panned out exactly as the couple had hoped. While their Netflix documentary was wildly successful,...

Being royalty doesn’t mean zero responsibilities for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. On the contrary, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children are said to “definitely have chores.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales traded the city for more of an English countryside existence in 2022. Today, they call Adelaide Cottage, located in Windsor, England, home. Previously, Kensington Palace’s Apartment 1A served as their primary residence.
Adelaide Cottage sits on Windsor Great Park grounds and is said to be more quaint than Apartment 1A. Read: smaller with four bedrooms. As such, there’s no room for live-in staff. Cheers is streaming in its entirety on Peacock and Paramount+, and a few seasons are still on Hulu. 11 seasons gives you 273 total episodes to watch, but let’s say you’ve already watched them all. At under 30 minutes each, it would only take you 136 hours, so less than a week if you don’t sleep. Anyway, here are five other shows you might like if you also like Cheers.

Nothing good happens after 2 a.m. — unless you're finishing a "How I Met Your Mother" marathon. The series remains laugh-until-you-cry binge-able years after its final episode and I'm not surprised. "Himym" helped redefine the sitcom with its flexible storytelling, deep comedic tool chest, and ability to define the undefinable moments of our lives. The show dove head first into woo girls, the bro code, the lemon law, and the sexless innkeeper. We've all had notions of concepts like these but had never seen them brought to life quite as "Himym" did it.
As soon as you hit play, the opening theme delivers a bubbly warmth. Bob Saget settles you in with his familiar voice. The antics kick off immediately and don't let up until Marshall (Jason Segel) forgives Lily (Alyson Hannigan) or Robin (Cobie Smulders) forgives Ted (Josh Radnor) or Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) roams the streets naked looking for a suit.

Canberra, Nov 5 (Ians) After a long and dramatic qualifying campaign, Australia are heading to the FIFA World Cup hoping to cause a shock.
The Socceroos were among the last of 32 teams to qualify for the FIFA World Cup Qatar, beating Peru on penalties in the inter-confederation play-off — about 1008 days after opening the qualification campaign with a 3-0 win over Kuwait in September 2019.
It was a campaign that was heavily interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, with the Socceroos playing only four of 20 games at home, and typified by a struggle to score goals against top opposition, reports Xinhua.
Through the early rounds of qualification, the Socceroos won 11 straight games — the longest winning streak in team history in a single qualifying campaign.
In the next seven games, Australia scored not enough goals, winning once and squandering an opportunity to qualify for the World Cup directly.
In four matches against automatic qualifiers Saudi Arabia and Japan,...

[This story contains spoilers for “Nippy,” the July 25 episode of Better Call Saul.]
It’s been nearly nine years since Michelle MacLaren directed the brutal “To’hajiilee” episode of Breaking Bad, the fourth-to-last hour of the Emmy-winning drama.
Apparently, you can’t have a preantepenultimate episode in this world without MacLaren, who returns with this week’s “Nippy.” This is MacLaren’s third Saul episode, following “Mijo” in the first season and “Breathe” in season four, and it’s part of a homestretch that welcomes a string of beloved family members back behind the camera.
After three straight episodes driven by major character deaths and decisions, “Nippy” wildly changes gears for a full installment in the black-and-white Nebraska world of Gene Takovic, the Cinnabon-managing alter ego to Bob Odenkirk’s Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman. Jumping us forward to the events after Breaking Bad, “Nippy” continues a storyline that had previously been reserved for pre-credit openings to earlier seasons.
